Is that why their prices are very high in the market ? I was wondering why.

Wow I didnt realize the fern was that high!! I have a plus 1 bonus right now, I will use it that time to grow some these ferns. You have a good eye broke!!! I have managed to collect quite a few carnations, this will go good with them, since mainlands never have a great deal on EP, all the highest items are on BAHA side. Those are selling for like 6000 in my market, dont know if they are actually moving at that rate, I know I sure wouldnt pay it. And I keep forgetting that fern, I keep telling myself I need to grow it because BP is gonna have something coming up that we are going to need it. Thanks for sharing your find with us.

I saw them on several markets lately with the LOW ranging from 675 to 4,300. We are not going to stock our barns through a seed purchase.
    • Since BP wishes to label the fern a flower (which can be argued), Paradise Garland (which gives +3 flowers on all fields for 18 hours) should work.
    • I have found that Paradise Garland is nearly twice the price of CAC (which gives +2) on some markets

The +3 buffs if used correctly can generate lots of EV points.

I do too!! Check out CAC in your market, not all markets are good, but some are a very good investment, if you have the funds. I think alot of people won alot of CAC from the cursed coins and are dumping them. I have seen some people listing CAC at 200,000 and I know it sells daily anywhere from 400k -550K, now some people may win so much, they might buy for awhile and prices may not go back up quickly, but Im gonna gamble and buy those up that I can and hold on to them till the prices go back. If we dont have the +3 -- CAC will work too. I use CAC 24/7 and I havnt gotten into really checking out the plus 3s, Im sure Im hurting myself, but I really dont grow crops much, I buy seeds daily, all of them, costs me over 6 million a day, and that supplies almost all my needs, and then stock piles those that I dont need.

The fern is not just going to appear in the barn with a routine seed purchase. One may get a few from the giver but no quantity to speak of. A farmer must intentionally go out of their way to produce.

    The current demand is created:
    1. The crop (a flower) is new to the game and most surely
    2. one who does not have the little crop giver MUST now pay ccs in the market to start up.
    -------------------------------
Another note where silence is being maintained:
    • Many have collected and some produce the parrot feather (ev 1,864)
    • The Tree of Wisdom provides rungs for a few product trees (egg, goat milk, cow milk and honey) BUT NOT the parrot feather -- no increase in supply from star use for any parrot feather tree
    • and the Parrot is NOT YET a breeding animal
    • All other products with tree availability have the related animal that IS a breeding animal today
    -----------------------------
A baby farm I am thinking of using to participate in a TOP Competition of any substance IS now producing the fern.

At the moment the fern is that farm's third highest crop quantity. The price offered for ev unit is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too high for my purposes.
    • A young farm stands a slim chance of playing at the bottom of a TOP competition through aggressive fern production and a poor barn
    • A mid level farmer, who knows, is destined already to finish higher (say in the top 1001 - 2,999) my even move higher within that section just growing what others do not.
    • IMO those already destined to finish in the 301 - 1,000 presently most likely will increase their finish by little by producing fern
    • Those in the 101 - 300 most likely are only keeping up and maintaining a position
    • No concern with upward movement for those already destined to finish in the 1 - 100 range .
My baby farm harvests 3 times a day with CAC use and produces:
    • say 600 plots times 3 = 1,800 ferns each harvest
    • 1,800 times 3 harvests a day = 5,400 ferns each day
    • 5,400 ferns each day times the 200 EV = 1,080,000 more ev points each day to donate
(other time demands here so too lazy to use water and/or manure and harvest on time or harvest more times each day or use super grow and speed up even more and hrvest more times each day or use ........... ) -----haha slow dooooown or life is going to pass you by

    ------------------------------------------------
When CAC prices were rising, this farm would clear the market and now holds about 2,200 CAC and rarely grows. Making ccs in one thing and stashing them is another. (Anyone can try and play the game of "how low can you go" with this farm ... ) I can only emphasize that a growing farm cannot go efficiently in all directions at once.

CAC may be used to increase quantity produced of any crop by +2. The +3 quantity increasers are directed at a specific type of crop (for instance grains or flowers or ...).

    ----------------------------------------
Certainly one is able to generate profits now by selling tree fruit. A concern for those preparing for a competition and intending to use a tree fruit donation is: One may have extreme difficulty in replacing the ev points sold.

One may be better off by not selling at all. One may find they are only spinning their wheels and going nowhere by selling and purchasing another ......... and even worse ............... one may be selling and actually loosing ev points even with a subsequent purchase.
