    I suspect that we aren't going to be getting that many star coins...and really, unless you don't have those givers or cloud rows, you don't need them.

    More I think about it, I think I am just going to do regular lures until I get the 50 games in. Then if I've got leftovers, I'll try the fancier lures.

    This is a level 4 farm in The farmer_broke event. The farm is not an Aluminum Chickadee or Mentor as the rest of these farms around here are. It is now a Serendibite Chickadee. It has left the level 3 Gold Chickadee and taken the Mentor also to Serendibite (level 4).

    The farm level is 35 and Baha level is 89.

    The Serendibite Mentor is ortrud_oc. Before I had a chance to review the faqs this great mentor already had an igm in my box which read: "What a shame-no fishing for you. Happy Farming."

    This is a Serendibite Mentor and not some ordinary Aluminum Mentor with a bunch of Aluminum Chickadees. psst aluminum farmers:eek:

    Each to their own! The farmer_broke Event participants simply have higher aspirations than chasing some junk fish with aluminum lures and chicken feathers. :)

    ATTENTION: The star coins in the Farm Cup event can also be used in the event shop at the fishing event. " - not sure if this is intended or not. If not the devs might change that , if intended we might use fish coins in the footie event as well. :D ​

    dog gone it! Beeps will do anything to push this fishing garbage.

    How can I get rid of this free cheesy looking lure. Any fish that bites that trash is surely junk.

    I've got to find a way to get rid of that free trash. xD

    It's not just one. All of the farms participating in The farmer_broke Event have this problem.
    I tried on the fishy_broke farm to restart game after starting the dumb fishing and when I came back the freebie was there again.

    Then I tried to fish and not catch anything and reset. Came back and the dumb lure had caught some bottle or something. This is a big big problem.

    Got exactly 3 pollution drops from the initial harvest. I da care what this farm does though. I wanted -0- . Oh well. :cry:

    OK my 1st harvest got me 24 fishhooks:(, 109 lure feathers, and 103 metal discs!:D It looks like I need to get more land to plant more crops to get more "fish hooks", so that is what I have done! 1 land ( rainforest) is now 188 1x1's to grow crops and
    I hope increase my fish hooks!:p

    My 1st harvest got me 195 fishhooks, 114 lure feathers, and 12 metal discs.
    I had about 80 trees on the fields, now growing near 500. At least for a day.

    my strategy:
    Using the smallest (cheapest) lure and play 50 games. Whatever comes as a prize is a bonus. Prizes in the fishing shop are really not great, as I have the CRs and givers already. Any star coin I will get, will be spent in the soccer shop.
