How to get Coins?

I have only 8 coins left. How do I get more? I can't sell anything in the market place because I can't afford the fee.

Also, I just joined this game yesterday and I don't think I'll be playing it much longer, there's not much to do without spending real money on BB - they shouldn't call it free. Also, I have to wait so long with nothing to do. I want to keep playing because I love farm games, am I doing something wrong? Please give me tips, etc! Thank you! <3

welcome to the game....If you like farm games this should be the right place....the beginning is a bit tricky, I out maneuvered myself quite a bit in the beginning.....First things first, don't let your coins drop this far down.
If you have 8 CC, that's 10% of eighty.....so you will have to start slowly....if you got lettuce, check the market price and start selling chunks of that.....don't overprice or you'll have to wait to long for the sale.....More down in the Forum there's a section with great Strategy Discussions.....especially regarding low amount of CC and what to do about it.

Try selling a small amount in the market. Set the priser low, so that it sells quickly.

If you like farm games, give it a chance! The reason there isn't much to do, is because you started yesterday, that will soon change. I played for almost a year without spenning real money.

Yes that is frustrating when you start out. You could try selling a few low level products in the market to earn a few more CCs. You could also get you neighbours to send you a lonely goat, hungry cow, herb patch or wheelbarrow that give a few CCs when harvested.
It is quite possible to play the game without spending RL money, many players do. The are other ways to earn a few BBs.

The game isn't designed to be an action game, it is a long term strategy game. Many of the players have been playing several years.

The market is the best place to get CCs. I also remembered you can get them from the farmwheel as a prize from your daily ticket.
This {FAQ} Gifts gives details of the gifts that give CCs / EP. This explains the daily bonuses {FAQ} Daily Login Bonus.
With regard to the trees, are you planting them on an empty plot? You need to delete any plots you have there first so it is just showing the grass. (D is the quick key for delete)

Also, see if you can fulfill some Farmer's Society quests. Some of these will give you CC as well.
