Morning all, and I hope your day is as glorious in your corner of the globe as it is here in sunny Melbourne!

I've been spending a lot of time lately thinking about the market and what is good to sell, and particularly, I've been wondering how well certain crops, animals etc sell on the market. So I thought this would be a good place for us all to contribute our experiences of what sells well, what sells not so well, and whether or not a certain crop sells successfully.

My good sells: I'm not sure whether or not this is still the case, but I have found that pumpkins sell well in batches of 100. I've made most of my fortune in this area, in that I've pulled myself out of bankruptcy

My bad sells: So far I've not come across any crops that sell badly, but I've rather found that selling in irregular batches is fairly unsuccessful - ie random numbers of crops per batch. Try to sell in rounded groups, ie groups of 10, 25, 100, 500 etc.

My questions: How well do low level crops (such as lettuce, carrots etc.) sell on the market? Do they sell at all? Does anyone buy them?

    Feel free to contribute!

Hi Squiggle, glad to see you back. I think that all crops can sell but a times certain crops move faster. ex: When we have back to back events the items needed to make PJ and CAC sell faster. Including the actual items needed for the event.
In that same vein... Island crops used in leveling recipes sell really well.
As far as the lower level crops are concerned, many people don't want to be bothered growing them so things like carrots and wheat also sell well.

On upper level crops that the price in the market is less than the price in the shop, I like to purchase small lots of whatever new crop I've just leveled up to.

I never sell plants, only trees(but it is difficult to find a tree with high price) and sometimes animals.

The most of my money are from selling products:)
