Hurricane Michael

    Just letting my neighbors and friends know that my city took a direct hit from the hurricane (almost Cat 5), with devastating damage. Our electrical infrastructure has nearly been destroyed and power may not return for several weeks. I will be back as soon as possible, but have no definite time. I have triggered vacation mode to keep active with my neighbors - so sorry I cannot assist with event drops dear friends!:(

    Today I had a chance to ride with some others to another city not so badly affected to get supplies. We were in a place with internet access, so I have taken the opportunity to let my friends know what is happening. The eye of the storm went over my city, with eyewall winds of 155 mph. The main streets of town are littered with destroyed buildings and trees are down everywhere. I lost part of my roof and have some structure damage, but still have a home - a blessing some do not have.

    I know of at least one more player that was affected by the hurricane, but am not sure of their power status. My prayers and blessings to all dealing with this situation. Will check in when I can.:)

    am glad you are ok willow :) I saw all that on the news :(( im sending prayers your way to you and all those affected by that hurricane

    Willow- I've kept you and your whole area in my prayers. :inlove: I'm so glad to hear you are okay...and although your home is damaged...thank goodness it is still standing. The news coverage of all the devastation is just horrendous. I feel so terrible for all those that lost family, homes and businesses. I will continue to hope and pray that power is restored very soon...and that repairs go quickly.:music:

    Glad you are safe and sound, willow. Wish everything is restored to normal soon. And hope our other friend too recovers from the result of the hurricane.

    There are no words to make things better just wanted you to know that I'm happy to know you personally are ok and that my family is sending good thoughts and Prayers to you and your neighbors. Hopefully, you will not be in the dark for long.

    Got to a city with both power and internet tonight. Can't be on long, but want my neighbors and friends to know I'm still alive!:)
    Probably no internet in my little town for another few weeks. I will understand if everyone must move on, but I will try to contact everyone when I'm back online to see if anyone still has a place in their neighborhood for me.

    My poor town is terribly messed up. We are about an hour from the coast and got nearly a full hit from the storm.
