Three of the six events in so far in 2015 have awarded stars. I have not calculated the star 'break point' where it would be cheaper for me to purchase EP to gain stars. At my level, I would not invest that much CC to level up to gain another star as this level alone requires approx 35 Million EP. However, I do use the same concept on the island with MOS and Red punch to gain GB which is the equivalent of the main farm's stars.

Stars are also obtained from a cloud row and the reindeer pet.

I would like to apply for the job of taking all your crafting items off your farm for the payment of 100 CAC.

Sugar and salt trees which were removed from the secret seedlings offerings will then be in great demand in G/T (if/when it arrives).

I consume enough sugar/salt/herbal elixir to meet my own farming demands with a little left over for gifts but do not see myself purchasing crafting supplies to seek stars. That would be true also on my alternate farm which does not have a surplus of stars like this farm has.

 

SillyGuy's post makes a whole lot of sense to me. I am prepared to take advantage of profits in many areas if indeed a new quest calling for such tree fruit pans out. I feel it unlikely it would not because the items called for will only become obviously out of balance to many more.

Three of the six events awarded stars is about right. The idea would not be for developers to completely ignore the lower level players who need then, and neither will I. But I do not intend to market to them in a manner the same as to upper level players with ccs. Again, one should be somewhat aware of who one is trying to appeal to when selling.

The whole magic stalk concept is greatly design as a revenue source in the game. Many still do not have it opened. Yes, stars are given away and what is given away must eventually be taken away by the game. And the star holders will be given the opportunity to use them and those who do not will find a way to obtain them. And this farm has resources to assist the needy... as well as the greedy .

I sense a little doubt or concern. I have it too and this is exactly the reason I have invested so so slowly in craft products of the ep nature. I certainly will be glad to dump them. I listed a lot of 30 and will see what happens.

No need for you to apply to take the craft junk yard. Just take the buildings and all.

The craft investment was done in order NOT to have a loss in buying power. Holding massive amounts of ccs to look at naturally results in a loss of buying power during periods of rising prices in RL as well as in this game. Each to their own as their is no correct way to play this game. But it is what it is!

Checked another farm and an even greater increase in the market price of ep items. I did see a lightly greater increae in the price of Baha ep items I am unable to see on the this farm.

I mentioned above I wanted Dogs for the purpose of selling to those working the animal trophy. Eagles following suit. I don't hold enough Eagles to play. Several lots of 100 dogs went but acquiring them is slow. I need the turnover in order to keep funding the Anaconda feed cruncher on Baha. Cheap Rabbits are hard to find and turning chickens in lots of 400 is slow during events and buying turns into a real chore with all the ones and fives. Chickens are jut another steady source of coins but funds are sunk for a while.

Keeping a close eye on Peacock, the feed, and Blueberry. Blueberry is slightly less than half it's seed price. Thinking of only milling Peacock feed for the next few months. Market adjusted upwards too too quickly when Peacocks were needed, too too quickly!

And the event calls for more peacocks ...... means more feed sales .....translates into higher demand for blueberries. Still no hurry to sell peacocks cheap here. I'll let the call continue to drain the market. Same with Peacock feed. Now I have a baby farm that is insane and will sell mostly anything at any price. And it has some growing up to do.

In the current event strategy thread there is nothing discussed of how to choose the best product to donate. And prices in the market indicate the in ability to apply exchange values.

Only 3 products to even mildly think about and all else are a complete waste of resources and easy ccs to be made. The products are: eggs, parrot feathers, and honey.

Method to determine the best to donate is exactly the same: market price /exchange value. Contribute the one with the lowest.

If purchasing across the board using this method one would have many already.

I have a "broke call" for cheap blueberry remaining. This is not a short term hold although there are some opportunities available. Farmers on the same market might think about getting to grow them.

Some citing no stars in this event. See the event strategy thread. All lots of 30 unit ep products are gone and with decent profit. While I consider the doubts of some, I think I'll continue to generate profits in this area in order to fund my foolishness.

For this new permanent quest, I love it so much... Yes yes yes, because it makes me richer than ever. Spent 2-4 million CCs everytime (almost every hour) that I got to market, to acquire junks for nothing.. I love to make someone's day happier, especially last few hours to receive around 9 million EV.
May I pass another millions for you??

Laugh at this: Have about 31,000 at the moment. Lots and lots were acquired at 450. Do you think I even need an event to make 500% profit? Come onnnnnnnnnn.

Spent a grand total of -0- in order to specifically prepare for new quest. Rowan, beecknut, gold leaf, and chestnut ALL acquired in hundreds of thousands according to the method presented above. ABSOLUTELY NO THOUGHT now or in the near future.

We both began somewhere. I remember as if it were yesterday making 2 ccs on lettuce and I have never forgotten the lessons I learned. I know we reach a point where 20% return is not what we want nor do most. Why not take the 500% and the 20% right along with it? One must get prepared to do it though!

Sure I will consider any advice you offer. I'm preparing for something else. hahaha Sure I see crops and the movement in some and know it is a matter of time for others. Still cannot go in all directions at once as ccs are sunk. Little bit at a time with rational price determination to do so and now believe what I see.

And I have my call out for Blueberry because of its need in peacock feed, barns lack massive supplies, the seed price is over 200, market has risen over time and will double, peacocks an eligible breeding animal, no related product, ..... and I want farmers on my market to get busy growing them if they want ccs above the norm because I'll pay it. When I end my call, the broke event ends and farmers will be at the mercy of the needy.
Sure chickens surfaced for me. Bet I have them too. Want um? Only lots of 400! Contact me through igm and a 9,999 transactions can be worked.

You know I had bad experiences when I was a newbie here. Someone listed for high prices, I can't deal to buy whatever stuffs in my market. I almost quit from this game because of that. I do not want any newbies in my market to have bad experiences as same as mine.

Now who in their right mind would take all the Anaconda feed off the market, raise anaconda to 3500, take chickens to 300, take rabbits to 800, and take blueberries to 115? And then clear the market of all Blackberries, again. Someone bumped their head.

Has anyone noticed that dogs have doubled in price? at least in my market

 

Dogs have been watched for a while now. Yes, I have noticed the nearly double in price of dog in recent days. The price change is noticeable across many markets.

Yesterday I noticed several observed that drops items during the current event were judged as declining. Dogs have an exchange value of 450. If purchasing animals in order to submit for the animal trophy then the best choice is the animal with the LOWEST price/exchange value. If submitting animals for an animal call the best choice is the animal with the LOWEST price/exchange value.

There are 51 different animals (excluding any breeding animal consideration):

44 mainland animals of which:

• 16 are accessible by level
• 28 are termed rare

7 Baha animals

• all 7 accessible by level

As part of TOP 100 strategy I disclosed the use of dogs to meet the animal requirement for the same reason as above.
A post a week ago cited the desire to hold dogs.
All baby farms hold a few. The one preparing for next TOP race has about 3200 dogs presently.
This farm holds only about 12,500 presently. (Sell in lots of 100 to those working the animal trophy)
Dog feed on this market has been between 650 and 750 for the last 60 days. (And there is confusion in the feed market remaining.)
Dog pens were given as reward for an event not long ago therefore increasing the number of pens and demand for dog feed.
Dog feed prices increased shortly after award due to increase in pens outstanding and the feed requiring a MM crop.
Dog were acquired as low as 425 on this market and had increased to 650 up until a few days ago. (Current open is 900 ... only 3).
Many dogs were acquired for less than the cost of feed.
Dogs have no officially announced use in a quest to date.
Cats appeared to have a stronger demand than but have an announced use.
Dog is one of the 28 "rare" animals available.
Only two "rare" animals may be bred at this time.
I do not judge there to be enough dog pens available to produce the dogs required to produce dog breeding animals at this time.
Dogs have no product attached to them.

With the current price rise in dogs to 1000 - 1100, dogs now compete with eagle as the best animal for trophy donation.

NOTE: A different type of analysis using exchange value will indicate dogs are still underpriced as a potential investment in relation to other animals. (Will try and present how that analysis is easily done.)

Alright, you made me do some research as I got curious . There is a rumour in the czech forum of a new fsq which will need them - along with moose, spider, crows and a new farm animal.

 

Avienne here is my market right now:

dog -0- offers
moose -0- offers
spider -0- offers
crow 9 offers, low is 3,000

I hold thousands of all but crow and hold only 41. The only reason I can offer for not holding the crow is that I cannot go in all directions at one time ...... yet!

There are different levels of cc holdings. One initially is excited by holding a few million. Each to their own. In my opinion, holding massive amounts of ccs without a massive barn will allow one to progress at a snail's pace. The reason is because once one begins investing in an item once the market has signaled opportunity, much of the opportunity is already gone. This is safe and progress is slow and even to the point where it is predictable.

Other forms of simple analysis may be used which allow one to invest or buy with accuracy rather than through wild hunches.

Think I'll take some profits without any competition. Thanks and please come back.

Spotted lettuce, carrots, wheat, and hay too. And oats and sunflowers still lag behind. Still cannot go in all directions ....... yet! (But I have plenty of five of the six items just mentioned.)

The above animals mentioned are all "rare" animals. Good job developers! Next mystery stable sale or even sales with BBs will help game revenues not be so rare.

Not criticizing developers or BP either! RL revenues must be generated in order for profits from the game to be maximized. They are right on target. Now they must collect the revenues.

 

Only thing sold out of them are the moose so far here, some spiders left though already at a quite high price I think (don't check them regularly). Spent a few cc on a couple of moose before there were none left and now hoping this rumour is going to become true Never really sure what to spend those ccs on though, still trying to build up a "minimum barn" if you know what I mean while nibbling on the events to not fall back even worse behind everyone else . Plus getting some coin now and then ..these goals too often interfere with one another *sigh* We will see

 

With moose and dogs going that leaves eagles for the animal quest. First thing was to pick up a few more. I noticed Bear up in price too. Might look for cheap feed! Feed will provide a slow steady return once the event ends and fields are empty if all is believed.

Avienne, I vaguely remember you beginning. Yes, the goals you have are in conflict with one another. Slowly ..... you tried when you had nothing as I remember. Only prices and specific items have changed. Slowly .... in a while you should find your goals complement one another. In a while still.

i just found in my market crows are 1569 cc and spider lowest 2300 and then 2451cc Tomorrow i will be selling fishes and peacocks and hope price will go higher
