Announcement Important Information About Browser & System Compatibility (WebGL2)

Dear Farmers,

We would like to share some important information about the technical
requirements needed to play the game smoothly in your browser. We know
that technical topics can be overwhelming, so we’ve tried to explain things as
clearly and helpfully as possible.

Our game requires WebGL2 to run correctly.

If your browser, operating system, or graphics card does not fully support
WebGL2, the game may not load or may run into issues. In most cases, the following steps help resolve problems:

 Update your browser
 Update your graphics drivers
 Make sure hardware acceleration is enabled

Why Compatibility Can Be an Issue

The game relies on WebGL2, a graphics technology that is supported differently depending on your system setup. Compatibility is not determined by a single setting, but by a combination of factors, including:

 Your browser and browser version
 Your Windows or macOS version
 Your graphics card (GPU)
 Installed graphics drivers
 GPU generation and available graphics memory
 Whether hardware acceleration is enabled

Because of this complexity, Unity (the underlying engine) does not define fixed
minimum system requirements. Instead, they require that the browser supports WebGL2.

In general, PCs built from around 2012 onwards have a good chance of working correctly. However, certain combinations of older operating systems or graphics hardware may still cause issues. We are continuously reviewing compatibility where possible, but in some cases older hardware has technical limitations that are difficult to overcome.

Browser Requirements (WebGL2 Support)

Please make sure you are using the latest version of a supported browser.


Note: In our testing, Google Chrome often provides the most consistent results. However, other supported browsers may work just as well depending on your system.

Graphics Card (GPU) – General Guidance

The following graphics cards usually support WebGL2:

Intel: HD 4000 or newer
 NVIDIA: GTX 400 series or newer
 AMD: HD 5000 series or newer
 Graphics Memory (VRAM): 1 GB minimum (2 GB recommended)
 Drivers: Latest stable version

Please note that this does not guarantee the game will work in every case, as browser and system interactions can vary.

Known Situations Where the Game May Not Work

Even with updated software, the game may still fail to load in some situations,
for example:

 Very old integrated graphics (roughly 2006–2012)
 Certain graphics cards blocked by browsers (e.g., Intel HD 3000)
 Playing via Remote Desktop or Virtual Machines
 Hardware acceleration disabled in the browser
 Corporate or school PCs with restricted GPU access
 Extreme power-saving or battery-saving modes

We understand how frustrating this can be and continue monitoring these cases closely.

What You Can Do to Improve Compatibility

We recommend trying the following steps:

1. Update your operating system to the latest available version
2. Update your browser
3. Update your graphics drivers
4. Ensure hardware acceleration is enabled in your browser
5. Avoid using Virtual Machines or Remote Desktop
6. Disable battery-saving modes
7. Temporarily disable browser extensions (especially ad blockers or privacy tools)
8. Try a different supported browser if issues persist

In-Game Graphics Settings (If You Can Log In)

If you can log into the game but experience performance issues, freezes, or visual problems, adjusting in-game graphics settings may help.

Recommended settings:

Standard Settings

 Client graphics: OFF
 Graphics: OK

Additional Settings

 Activate window animations: OFF
 Activate harvest animations: OFF

Lowering these options can significantly reduce system load and improve stability.

Test Your WebGL2 Support

A successful test is a good sign, but please note that it does not guarantee the
game will work in every setup, as other system factors still apply.

 The WebGL2 test works, but the game does not load
 You see a black screen or experience crashes after login
