Improve search engine and Search FSQ by item required

    This forum's search function does not seem to work well for me. I spend way too long trying to find a specific FAO or simple answer for a question. If I search peanut butter quests, I get a bunch of pages that are chats about events that required them. If I search Artisan Product FAQ, it doesn't come up. Maybe it's user error.

    The other thing I would like to see is a search by item option for FSQ. For example, if I want to find all open quests that need monkeys, I could search the word monkeys and boom there they are. If we can't do that, it would be nice to have a searchable database of some sort that shows food, crafts, and quests that require a specific item. For example, if I search apples, all of the animal food, crafts, and quests that require apples would show up.

    Agreed, it took me years to figure out that if you open the game faq forum first then do your search you only get search results from those threads instead of from the entire site.

    I agree too... its hard to use the search thing... no wonder why people make new posts about the same things thats been talked about... they use search and 100000 pages comes up ... it needs a new layout..I also agree with the FAQ pages we are trying to search for is a pain too... But like camauflage if we just go to that area then search maybe it be better.... as when i search for a certain FAQ i dont want to see 1000 posts about people talking about it.... or just a word and its number one on the search list but the FAQ is somewhere in them 14 pages.....ARH i say...

    There are lots of times that I google Farmerama __________________ whatever I'm looking for feed, trees, animals etc. I find I get closer to what I'm looking for that way. BUT it does not always work. I still try that first before using the form search. I'm just saying that's what I do

    Mazel I also do that sometimes but first I search the forum.

    Try to search something by clicking More... it is an advanced search and you can choose from which section of the forum you will results. It doesn't always work but usually I can find what I search for.
