In game messages

    Hi everyone

    It's been some months now that I'm playing this game, and so far I have never received an in-game message.
    I have sent several messages so far:
    - to my mentor (after I found out what the mentor thing was), and even though he has sent me several wonderful gifts, I have never received a reply message
    - to my neighbors, to thank and ask questions, and I have never received a reply message
    - to the people asking in the SOS thread, after sending drops, and I have never received a reply message
    The only message I have ever seen in my inbox it's a system message that says that a member has left my mentor's group.

    Now, I know that some people don't want to be bothered with chit chat. I myself I wouldn't want to spend all the playing time chatting and talking and replying etc...
    BUT... It seems odd to me that no one, never, in months, ever wanted to say even a "thanks" or "you're welcome".

    Please don't misunderstand me, I'm not complaining because no one talks to me :D
    Like I said before, I'm not looking for loads of chatting.
    But now I'm starting to think that maybe I'm missing something, or maybe the messaging system is not working.
    That would mean that maybe someone has written, and I didn't reply, so I have made a very bad figure, looking miseducated to those people.

    Please could you check this out?

    Hello elena516 :)

    Thank you very much for taking time to explain the problem you have been experiencing. You are most definitely right :( If there is a duplicate old inactive account with the same username as yours, the in game messages and even gifts can end up on the wrong account, or an error message is triggered when players try to contact you or send you a neighbour request.

    Please be so kind and contact our Customer Care Team and they will take care of this issue - you will receive a lot of messages and gifts soon :)
