Increase Manure Storage Capacity to 1000

This is why I am all for an intro email to the accounts of new players pointing them to the forums.
Let them know by a set of how to's how to do things, the game already offers tabs when going threw the offers for items, one click and you see low to high or reverse, that way newbies don't have to look at things they can't afford.

The tabs go all ways, price/amount and total amount cost I use them all the time, but I use tabs like that in other forum types, new farmers are most likely not know they can do it that way.

But here again, if you don't know about it you are left with complaints.

The small pile you are allowed really is a pain, to the point I don't use it on the farm, just the island as that is the only place I don't run out part way down the plot. Yes even with the harvester where it has the total amount you have right in my face I still click and come up short.

Placing caps on items really is not the way, most people don't know little how too's or fast ways, or the most important to know what you can do and limits.

If before my time the pile was unlimited I am all for going back to it.
Again, you have to make all farmers happy, that includes those that can afford 2000 units, I know at my middle buying power I get bored seeing all the pages of 1 unit items when I want 500/1000 unit.
I can't even think how frustrating it is to have the mil. of CC's and be forced to do little items.

And if my idea of a how to seems like work, have a contest to have farmers make the how too's best picked by staff and a cookie to all that are used, hey here's a good way to offer a new farm item or harvester 3 month's free use have a photoshop point and see what to do to find the amount of items, how to use the forums, how to do things with what is already here.

I know it is not that much to send a welcome email as an account is made, and to have happy farmers from all levels seems the best.

 

I've just seen a lot of 250 manure for sale at the market. Has BP made a change to the new rules that I missed?

 

I wanted to revive this suggestion. With the added rainforest lands, other changes, I think it really is time to increase the manure capacity.

I couldn't agree more, Woody. If I can store 300 I want to be able to sell and buy 300, surely that's a perk of using my stars to earn a bigger manure pile?
