Increase number of manure offers

I am not so happy with the manure market situation

Many players use the market to "store" manure in anticipation of an event, either to use themselves, or to sell at a higher price. With the "new" limit of 100 manure per offer, this option is greatly reduced. Players with maximum manure pile could previously offer a total of 3000 manure, now only 1000. For premium players the difference is even bigger, from 12000 to 2000!

I realize that it is very convenient to have the 100 limit so that anyone can buy the manure offers. But the downside it that there is a lot less manure on the market when an event starts and it is quickly sold out. Everyone loses here, both those that want to make CC selling manure, and those that want to buy manure to speed up the event crops.

My suggestion is to keep the 100 units of manure limit, but to increase the number of manure offers you can list. Specifically I would suggest to increase the number of manure offers you can list to:

(your manure pile capacity)/10.​

That way a player without premium could offer the same amount of manure on the market as before the 100 limit, just spread out over more offers. Premium would double the number of offers since the manure pile capacity is doubled.

This would make manure offers an exception to the maximum 10/20 offers rule, but on the other hand no other item has a limit on how many units you can put in an offer (not a limit lower than 9999 anyway), so manure offers are already special.

 

I'm not happy with manure sales either but for different reasons. I don't like the change the made. Before I could offer quantity of 300 so I had a greater quantity but the same amount of offers.

Since I usually don't have computer access to compete in the events I used to make a fortune selling manure. Now I don't. A lot of my manure offers usually get returned because they are not sold and also usually lost or at a lower quantity because the manure bin is full.

 

Thankyou, Mir for starting this thread, and I agree that The Manure market has been ruined with the 'straight-jacket' type restrictions that currently exist. This market has been ruined for both buyers and sellers.
Come on Big Point, please listen, and restore the 'free-market' policy that exist on the other sections of the market.
As Mir points out, the 100 limit is contrary to your overall market policy.
The market overall is an excellent feature of this game and works so well, far better than any other game where trading of goods is a feature. I feel that even you, BP, would agree that the market works far better than you could have ever imagined. Please put manure back the way it used to be.

 

I have been playing this Game for over 5 years Never had a Problem with Manure Storage or The Manure Markets....Earlier this year they have changed limitations of Manure to Unlimited all of a sudden that we could sell to the Markets....We could Sell Manure in quantity 300,600,900,1200 or Even unlimited Quantity of Manure

The Problem is that most of us can only hold 300 Manure in our Barn so it is totally pointless to buy 300 plus Manure from the Markets and Manure Brought over 300 is completely lost.... Those who have Premium Accounts you can double the Manure Storage to 600 as it was Premium Accounts Farmers that was selling Manure Quality of 600 or 1200 in the Markets....Which does not help all those farms who does not have an Premium Account

Then Suddenly BigPoint Revamped it that can sell unlimited Manure in the Markets and Unlimited Storage of Manure.....This is completely unfair to many newbie farmers who does not have great amounts of CC to Buy Manure from the Markets....

Also it is not fair to Farmers who had millions of CC so buy up all the Manure in the Markets then they have got to a point to actually control the Manure Markets which Bigpoint does not want to happen as it should be a free, fair Balanced Market...But Bigpoint has also gone too Mean now to Capped to Selling only 100 Manure in the Markets

Many of us are using 1x1 Fields which in the Glade can have 181 of these Fields but will use 100 Manure From your Storage then would have to go to the Markets to buy 100 more Manure then go back to complete than field full of Manure otherwise you have two lots of same crop in that field with two different Reaping Times ready for Harvest one with Manure and Water...the other just water....This has knock on Effect to place Manure in Green Meadow,Main Field, Bahamarama and now Rainforest !!!

The Biggest Pain in Manure Markets is Farmers selling Quantity of 1 Manure..This will always Happen unless BigPoint changes the Minimal Amount Manure you can Sell is 100 Manure.....But need to Put Back our Manure Storage Back to 300....600 to Premium Account Farmers

But Many Farmers have more than 100 Animal Pens placed on Their Farms Harvesting these Animal Pens without doubt add over 100 Manure to Barn Manure Storage which is currently get Wasted as it just not worth the hassle to sell 100 Manure to the Markets so than you can fill your Manure Barn Back to 100 Capacity then have repeat this Process....This is Totally Pointless when Manure Prices are so low

My Suggestion BigPoint Put Manure back to 300....Plus add couple of Manure Storage Runes to increase storage to 600 for Premium Accounts this is Doubled ...These Runes are unlocked using Stars

Mir...The Suggestion Keeping Manure at 100 Manure Limit will not help Farmers who are using 1x1 Field with or without using CAC ...The simply reason 100 Manure is not enough to cover any of our fields using 1x1 ....

 

Mooboy, there are two ways of increasing the amount you can offer on the market, either by increasing the size of each offer (back to how it was before):

10 offers of 300 means you can offer a total of 3000 manure​

or increasing the number of offers you can make:

30 offers of 100 means you can offer a total of 3000 manure.​

Since the 100 limit was put there for a reason, my suggestion was to increase the number of offers instead.

 

The manure problem definitely needs fixing. I liked being able to buy and sell 300 at a time and that worked on my market; there was a good range of available quantities from 1- 600. During events my market rarely ran out of manure and the prices slowly increased, but offers were available. Now it hits 0 and you can't list for a reasonable price during an event. I'd prefer to go back to the way it was before the unlimited storage debacle - it wasn't broken and didn't need fixing in the first place.

 

I agree there are some good ideas being discussed here about manure in the market. I think changes need to be made because the restrictions are tough on both buyers and sellers.

The manure market is now broken !!!
When the market has no offers, and we know demand is high , say during an 8 hour crop event, and I am unable to list manure for sale at a decent price.
In fact, the price limitations for anything that has none for sale is something that does need fixing !!
I was trying to sell armadillos when they first were included in the game and the most I could list them for was 475 ccs
-I wanted to sell them for 100 times that !

 

I'd prefer to see it back the way it was too before somebody messed with it. I know we've heard some rot about game economy but that means very little to mean on account of the fact that I speak English. From what I can see the economy has been damaged - manure now sells for less than 1cc during non-events and I've never known it that low unless an event requiring animals has been going on. I've had manure that I listed at 300cc for 100 returned to my barn for not selling, which is daft. I also agree with Mooboy that trawling through 100 offers at 1cc each is just tedious.

 

I agree, I never thought it was broken in the first place. Put it back the way it was.
I find myself using manure on things I would never have used it on before simply because it's just not worth selling it for 1cc.

 

Yup, this one gets my vote! The amount of poo that I waste cos I haven't been able to put it up for sale. I do mainly animal farming at the moment so I have a steady supply of manure ... if I can only put 1000 on the Market, where can I put the rest? As others have said, it wasn't a problem before so why was the system changed?

 

I agree with everyone above. please fix the manure market.

 

As a minimum, increase the maximum manure we can sell. -- either 200 or 300. That is an amount anyone can sell and buy. Also, consider allowing premium farmers to sell more lots of manure. (as opposed to increasing the amount that can be sold at one time to 600). This increase would be for manure ONLY, not other products.

 

Please put the manure market back the way it was!
