Looks interesting, but the time before Christmas is to busy for me to try something like this. I look forward to seeing all the entries though :)

Write your ID and username on a piece of paper or something else, and put it together with the things you'll photograph. After taking the picture you have to upload it to an image hosting site, see this FAQ. And here are the instructions on including the picture in your post :)

I have an extraordinary idea, at least I think it is... (it's probably well known far and wide, but I just heard the story the other day) and will somehow try to put it together. It involves a Christmas Story/Legend and I do so love to tell stories...... I must first do my research though and hope I have time to put something together for all to see. Good Luck for all who try to whip something up.... i am excited to see how others incorporate customs of different countries in their entries. :music:

I haven't understood completely how this photo will be. Can we make one picture in an electronic form, I mean to combine a lot of pictures in one? But if this is allowed how will we include our ID?

Thanks Mir :inlove:, I have looked at the instructions, but just before christmas -.-... really. Seem to remember trying to post a screenshot/photo before and I could not do it then . I will have a go in the new year. Have a good Christmas and a good ride into 2016:D

Sounds interesting but if I were computer literate enough to compete in this, I would probably be playing a more complicated game than Farmerama.

I enjoy the competitions very much:) My Nephews & I had a great time creating entries for last years competition. Very nice to see they are still taking place. The International aspect is a nice twist. I'm sure it took a bit of work to get it all organized, thanks for that!
:inlove: how excited you are FarmerMolly22:) Like you, I have an idea & I can make an attempt at having something ready to submit, would mean only a few hours late tomorrow night to work on it-.- The rest of the family arrives tomorrow & We'll all be together from here on out to Christmas. We'll see how it goes.
Helpful links Mir, thanks!, Thanks pickles60, :) Merry Christmas to you too! Enjoy !

camauflage, I am now finding that Farmerama has it complex area's, at level 92.
Please don't be to harsh on, yourself,:( You might have a bit of fun with it.

Happy & safe Holiday to all!

There are several proudly unique local traditions, that I haven't (so far) found anything vaguely similar to Europe traditions. Still hoping to find something to unusual.

Just finished voting, odd that the forums took such different approaches. For CZ/SK forum I chose the hand drawn fortune telling shoes, and for the DE forum I chose the adorable kissing under the mistletoe photos. When I peeked at the English forum entries thread there was only one entry posted. It's too soon to say congratulations but, way to go Ariel! I would vote for you it it was allowed. Nicely done!

Aetheria14 I am kind of disappointedo_O It would be better to have more participants so it would be interesting to see who is going to win. Moreover 2 extra players would be able to get these rewards but now noone will. I took part in this competition because I was excited that it was international, I didn't care so much for the gifts...
I am happy you liked my picture:), it took time to research and put all the pictures together.

I liked your entry too Ariel:) but this is a very hectic time for many people making it difficult to accomplish the task (only speaking for myself).

Thanks pnp:) I know how difficult is to find time, even if we have holidays we don't have time to spend it here but with our families. I am sure a lot of people had this problem.

I too, liked your entry Arielh! I think many people not only had RL keeping them from participating but also may have not had a clear idea of what to do. It wasn't as clear an idea as last year's competition.

Arielh, I thought your entry was very good and would stand a very good chance even if there were more participants. ;)

I spent a couple of hours cutting out pictures, seeking out suitable Christmas stuff and arranging them, rearranging them and finally just giving up as the photo just didn't come up to a good enough standard to enter the competition. I must admit, my main motivation was a Piggy Bank = even if, with my (lack of) artistic ability, this was not even remotely a possibility lol! :music:

I did vote in both of the other regions. I went for entries that were picture based merely because I couldn't understand the others (not sure if that is entirely fair as we were voting for other regions and obviously they would write in their own language but I didn't have the time to do any translations). If I had looked before, I might have made an attempt with more writing content, with small pictures as descriptions but, as others have said, it was difficult to know what was required. :)

Anyway, may the best person win in all regions! :inlove:

The directive was to create a photo for the other language forums to vote on, so I think you were fair Illy. That is how I cast my votes, for the entries that had focused on the photo aspect and translated for us a little bit.

It is a great shame, that not one entry that mentioned an Australian Christmas, could be bothered to check their facts.

Kaydd2 Could you tell us which fact you are referring?
