Definitely! The effect is the same as the winged unicorn, which was sold for 6 euro corresponding to 180 BB.

I got the pet dragon last time. With the old rewards it cost me almost 150 BB, I still think it was worth it. But now I of course wish I had waited :music:

    I don't buy pet.
my dragon come from the hardly save 1000 renzo coins to exchange.
    But it's really worth.
for BB concept. agree with Mir85, if you could get it in small amount of BB.
    It's worth.

Absolutely. I think it's a bargain. I just spend those 55 BB to get it.

    Mir,

Are there any limits, I mean, both in terms of where to put it and the number of dragons you can have per field? After having read your response, I went to the Pets FAQs to find out, but nothing's told in reference to my question. (Maybe it can be bought just once).

I may assess the possibility of buying more than one. Definitely, as you said, it's worth the 55 BBs; I may also call it a bargain.

And, last question: where can it be bought for 55 BBs? I've just went to both Renzo's shop (and it cursed me and my ancestors when I tried to buy it because I have not enough chips.... LOL) and the store and couldn't find it there or how to buy it with BBs.

Aluntino, unfortunately you can only get one dragon pet from Renzo's :( The only way to get another is if you are lucky enough to be a mentor. Then you can get one from the mentor shop. I think you can put the dragon in any field you like. If you have two, then I guess they have to be in different fields. like any other pets. The dragon can however be placed together with the unicorn :)

DN, we are not really talking about buying the dragon with BB, but rather buying tickets for renzo's. For me the trial fair last month was the first time Renzo visited after I started this farm. I really wanted the dragon pet, and it would take me sooo long to get enough chips from the free tickets, so I decided to buy tickets.

Oh, thanks, Mir. Now I understand: you buy the tickets, exchange these for chips and buy the dragon egg with those chips, right?

EDIT: No need to answer, that's the way (I've just checked it). But my problem is I would need at least 400 BBs to get there. So, called off as an alternative.

Yes, but exchange in the sense of playing mach-o-meter :D I get an average of 15 chips per ticket playing that, whereas the best direct exchange is 300 tickets for 390 chips!

With the rewards last time, I got an average of 4.2 chips per ticket, so I used over 200 tickets to get the dragon :( This time I would not have needed more than 70...

Thanks, but I have very little time to spend in Renzo's fair. That's why I'm so low in chips. And, unfortunately, low they'll go on staying.

At least with the now higher chip rewards, you can get there quicker :) How many chips & tickets do you currently have?

Villager, I still think you got it at bargain price, so hopefully it will be worth it :)

Aluntino, sorry if I have been a bit off with my answers, saw neither of your edits until after.

To all, sorry if this thread has been a bit confusing. If by any chance anyone is interested, I have explained the "cost" of getting the dragon pet when buying tickets here (among other things) :)

    Mir,

I hadn't answered myself to your question on how many chips I had: I had 295 in stock. Thanks so much for all your help.

So, based on -and thanks to- your comments, I bought the 150 tkts pkg (100 BBs) and played the mole. I wish I had a touchscreen at hand (I guess I would have performed better), but this is a normal portable. Anyway, I did play it for maybe a couple of hours or so in total -split in 10 min rounds when I found I could distract a bit from work- and got 706 additional chips, with near to 30 tkts left.

So, I finally got it. I definitely think it's worth the 100 BBs -and the time- I decided to spend.

    Michael,

What makes you think the dragon is better than the owls?

I may agree about the crows.

But the dragon is like the nightmare thing (which I also have), as Mir explained above: 20% more EPs on everything for 20 min every 10 hs, whereas each owl gives you 10% more EPs on everything for 10 min every 30 min.

That is, a single owl is better for all harvesting rounds anyone may perform in between: it can potentially be harvested 20 times during the dragon's or nightmare thing's cooldown times, 10% each time, enhancing thus probability of increasing overall EP/B-EP output of anyone's farm if the whole day is considered, most probably much more than the dragon/nightmare thing would ever be able to boost (except on singled out morning harvests and, then, 10 hs later: I generally find this second harvest of the day not fully rewarding: it's hard -and generally inefficient- to make everything converge twice a day every 10 hs).

If it is also considered that you can have (like the crows) one per field, you may have up to 6 of them, meaning 60% more EPs on everything every 30 min.

Of course, they're not cheap (150 BBs, or 75 BBs during sales: incidentally, this is less than what I spent in tkts to enable me to get the dragon).

But they are certainly the best pet for boosting EP output. I consider them my best BBs investment ever in this game.

Touchscreen definitely makes a world of difference for whack a mole. I have touchscreen and tend to get 15-20 chips per ticket, 9 if I've done a bad job. Very good exchange!

As it says: No coffee, No workee......I don't know how I threw the owl in there, too. Maybe in the back, deep hidden beyond the brain, I was resenting the Owl for the jumping from farm to glade to park.......just to activate them and then jumping back to harvest before either the time is up or to find out that one of them wasn't activated.....Thank you for pointing out the mistake.....next time I'll have my coffee first, then think, reconsider, think again and then maybe post.....

    Michael,

More than a mistake I thought that maybe you had an inaccurate idea of the owls.

Don't worry: it happens to all of us in a way or the other, even with caffeine rushing in our bloods: some days ago I started the CuckooIV thread and titled it Cuckoo6 instead of Cuckoo4.... LOL. My mind transformed the "IV" into a "VI", even though I had had plenty of coffee 2 hours before...

I have the 6 owls and, yes, it's cumbersome to activate them every single harvest but I incorporated that into my automated routines. At least, it's less cumbersome than trekking the trophies from field to field...., and it's truly rewarding.

Congrats on getting the dragon, Aluntino and villager! I had very limited time to play at Renzo's fair this time around, so I hope I do better next time. I've managed to save roughly 650 chips over the entire time I've been farming, so with the new prize values, hopefully it won't take too much longer for me to get that lovely little dragon. Honestly, I don't care what it does, I just want it because I like dragons :inlove:xD.
