Just a question

I am a bit confused know:

As far as I know we are just allowed to share pictures posted on official fanpages posted by an official oracle. The animation in the newest thread is "just" posted by a user, copied, copied and copied... (was made by a german user by the way). The same with the information about the names and the mill product...

Could someone please explain that to me? Because in kind of we MAY share things posted by users there always would be a lot more information I could share...

I am not sure where you found the phrase "Grapevine and its rules", I cannot seem to find it

But in general, if you want an answer from a moderator, you should ask in the "Help" section

It might be okay to ask here too, I just didn't think so

 

I found it in my mind... it is about the grapevine ... and the rules according to the grapevine.

I have seen in the German forum that moderators answer questions in other threads. But here I think they (almost) only answer questions in the Help section. That's why I wanted to suggest it

It's tricky to know where is the limit between authorized rumours or if someone has 'crossed the line' and revealed unoffical information.
It seems that some forums are becoming a bit more lenient towards rumour-sharing.

However, it would be preferable, in the opinion of the old bearded Wizard that I am, to leave a bit of suspense until the official FAQs are published... I like suspense! do you?

For example: rather than saying 'the event crop is called... ' and/or 'the mill will produce .... product' - i much more enjoy to read a rumour like: "I've heard that we'll be using the Mill during this event... whatever could we make there this time?"
I have therefore edited a post in that thread, with a comment in that direction.
Facts need Sources. Pictures need sources.
Rumours can be suggested, or spoken about, hinted or even whispered

I hope it's o.k. to say this here, it's off subject - but it's brief and spontaneous. I just saw your new siggy and had to tell you.....I just love, love, looove it! Your beautiful butterflies look like they are returning, laughing happily....after having tasted the clouds and stopped by my deep purple Butterfly bush to chase the clouds with a sip (or three) of its heavenly nectar.

WHAT may I use as source? Just official fanpages and posts by offical oracles?
Or can even posts form other users be used as source?


I am sometimes lookung quite a long time to find the picurures and - NOT posted by other users, because I once read that is forbidden. Yesterday I saw, posts by other users are ok as source as well? (Like the animation of the coming event crop.)
If that is allowed now, I am very happy and can share a bit more than I did right now...

But I would be happy to know it exactly and everyone doing it the same way.
