Happy Mother's day to all of the Mamas and future Mamas! I've been told that I get to relax ALLLLL day, but waking me up at 6 and asking me how to make pancakes was scary. So, so far I haven't relaxed, I've fed them and cleaned up after them and broken up a few fights...it's just another Sunday around here and it isn't even noon yet!

 

good evening Was the same for me .... just another day around here lol ...... didnt even get breakfast in bed ...... high light of my day was my oldest son telling it OHHHH mum its mothers day you get to have for dinner whatever you want ....... lol THEN i had to cook it lol my children don't get the concept of mothers day lol .....

 

I got a certificate for a full day at my favorite spa!!! (And some chocolate beer ) I get the works. Cut, color, fingers, toes, facial, massage! Oh my! I was just floored, because we all know that this wasn't inexpensive and my daughter and 3 step kids all chipped in and Hubs only helped with the last bit. I just saw angels and halos. THEN, they were loud and getting on my nerves so I kicked them all out until dinner time and I have the house to myself!

but hubby and i had gone to the movies the day before .... so no biggy .... my oldest son is now working .... but getting him to part with HIS money is like getting me to part with my cc's lol ....

Two of mine work and two are too young. My life revolves around them since I do not work. The oldest boy works at Sonic and buys all the slushies I want. The oldest girl work at a Chinese place, so I can pop in and be fed whenever I want. But this was the best. I'm sure Hubs gave more than they let on, but I loved the pride on their faces for having paid whatever they could.

 

My pugs gave me, um, pug fur. And let me give them each a mama smooch on the forehead.

Yesterday we had a BBQ and had DH's parents and some friends over to celebrate Mother's Day with them. Today we are doing it all over again with my mother, my sister and brother-in-law. So we have had a busy weekend.

DH has taken a week's worth of vacation so he's off this coming week - he has many many things to do around the house - painting, plumbing, etc. I always say he works harder on vacation than he does at work.
