I have started working on a spreadsheet ..... might take me a while to sort it all out .... still unsure how to find the exchange rates on items ..... sorry if i'm not understanding i'm a little bit thick at times lol .....

Frogs, sorry I did not answer what exchange is. All items in the game with the exception of craft items which can be sold on the market have an exchange value. Tools do have an exchange value although not saleable. Go to your barn and you can easily see the exchange value of the items that have an exchange value that you have.

Take the crop trophy for instance. The quest asks for a specified amount to achieve the level and move on to the next. Credit is given by the exchange value and not the market value. Therefor some items are better to contribute than others. Exchange value is one of the few aspects of the game which have been fixed and set by the developers.

Very few choose to invest the time in order to use it. The only reason I suggest putting it into a chart is because exchange value is fixed and you will be able to see it across the game and to use it if you choose as you progress.

The topic of exchange value is not a good one for this thread. Good people come here and exchange value discussion will run many off. We are discussing it in the Making CCs by a Dummy thread. You may go there and pick up the exchange value for all the trees if you wish.

Simply forget about the use of exchange while preparing your chart if you indeed do it. (Difference analysis using exchange value will allow one to see specific differences for use in decision making as opposed to making wild guesses. Defensiveness with regard to using it is primarily due to an overall lack of understanding its uses. From elementary use of it Peacocks surfaced about 6 months ago. Go to your market under Peacocks and you should find a price higher than that which existed during a recent event calling for them. The rumor is dynamic now and barns still have peacock feed and it is running out. Exchange value analysis allowed me to see the specific movement in blueberry which is the only Peacock feed component. I did not believe what I was seeing in my analysis using exchange value but had sense enough to buy 32,000 Peacock ----hahahahah --I produced them ----Don't you believe I produced them . And there is another circulating with Sloth.... enough of this!)


Frogs, I think I read some post where you mentioned something about dreading to buy seeds? If I read right, there is no reason to dread buying seeds. I do it every single day because it is a source of almost instantaneous profit. Buy them and take them right to market if you wish. Can only buy 100 of each everyday. If you are not buying them each day, you may wish to consider going to the seed shop and looking at the price and the going to the market and looking at the price. After considering the 10% listing commission it will becomes obvious at which seed to stop buying. Same with Baha crops.

On the buying seeds i always thought i was being slack if i ran out of product and had to buy seeds ..... i know it can cost far more to buy item for item on the market .... so i guess you have a very valid point .... if i can buy them from the seed shop cheaper it makes good sense to buy from seed shop and sell on the market duh lol i should have put that together myself ..... I hope they will have another MILL subscription sale on soon mine ran out today and milling at full speed is dang painful

The nameless one does have much to teach, the way I see it is that everyone can take what's learned as far as they are willing to go, no more- no less, our call.

LOL, I have forgotten as well, with RL interruptions I now need to make note of what's listed. Besides the what, I also jot down quantity, list price, listing date ect.. But that's just me I like to make comparisons.
I had just purchased the mill subscription for the 1st time with this past offer, never thought about it before, but with prodding from some really great neighbors I decided to try it to see if it was worth the $. What I found is that it is not for me, yes, it did help produce those needed event items faster, enabling me to finish the event quicker but would not have kept me from finishing the event. feed stocks are good in the barn and whatever needs to be topped off will be obtained by buying from the market when the price is right, and my crops are not wasted. When I find a really good crop bargain I mill some.

Can't wait to soon see those double digits of yours, which will be coming soon at the rate your going!




Congratulations on your achievement Sheriziya Fun mostly, but also frustrating at times.

 

I have considered it, but decided against it. If I want more PF, it is better to buy PF directly, than speeding up the mill. And I don't want to pay RL money for feed which I can buy with cc in the market. Also, if I started buying it, it would soon be a must have, so better not

Wolfie i have 2 or 3 note books in the go here besides me with pages and pages of things scrawled in them of things needed for past quests .... tallies of one thing and another lol .... i went to find a page tonight and couldn't find a blank one ... time for another book lol

 

so true ! Ever hear of the never ending harvester subscription ? If I ever had to go back to all the necessary clicking, I would need to give up the game, RL just doesn't allow that much needed play time, for me at least.. I envy those who can and do.

hence, another good reason for spreadsheets, but I always have way to many things open on my computer/laptops, Have to do work sometimes...lol so, I buy the cheap composition ones..
