Even though we had another BB, I decided to sit this one out. Too high a requirements for my stock and PF levels. I would've loved the givers though, they look great.

 

I bred other animals, I have the breeding runes and used PF or Deluxe Pheromones. Deluxe pheromones were useless. I very rarely got any skip above the 4th level whatever I used.
BP has obviously changed this, I used to get some decent skips, but no more.
Could BP be any greedier than they are now.

 

I completed the event. Did a ton of breeding and had 450 extra tool belts. I never got a result over level 4 breeding from level 1 animals. Mainly got level 2 with a few level 3 and an occasional level 4. I pretty much hate breeding any more.

 

I keep reading posts such as yours and really have mixed feelings. I would like to feel that your results are not good but I really cannot. Over and over the same type posts. My concerns remain the same:

What do you want? ("you" being all of us)
What exactly did one put into the breeding process and what was the result? (few have any idea from discussions had)
What is the cc cost of every animal put into the breeding process?
What is being compared?
on and on

I get the impression that few are ever satisfied with whatever skips received. And I cannot see any reason why skips this year should be the same as last year or the year before. I see the BEEPs as a for profit enterprise. The developers had to entice players into breeding and purchasing power feed in light of everything else going on in the game.

I have a farm working the farmer_broke event and breeds regularly and most times outside of baby boom. That farm very rarely receives a skip at all but it does

Only my opinion: BP can surely grant giant skips to everyone. And the company should increase event requirements in order to keep the game somewhat balanced.

 

Sorry for the late reply, but I haven't kept up with this thread. I'm not quite sure what you mean here:

What did you put into the breeding huts? Regular animals? First or second level colored animals? If so, that is my experience too. I very rarely get a skip from regular/lowest level to above 4th level, and I doubt deluxe pheromones will increase those skips. When I started playing this was different. From one field (can't recall how many breeding huts fitted on a field) I would often get a red skip from regulars.

Or did you mean that you put breeding animals above level 4 (i.e. "red" animals) into the breeding huts and very rarely got any skips? My experience with breeding red animals with deluxe pheromones is that I get a skip maybe every 5 breedings. Considering how much such a skip is worth I don't think that is bad.

 

I had 369 tool belts left over on my main farm after completing the entire event. I have some Magic Trees and didn't bother to keep track of how many I might have gotten from neighbors. I did complete the entire event on all three farms.
For this event I put a bunch in the Love Shack/Hotel before BBD started then bred mostly what I wanted until I got the combo that I wanted to donate. Plus that gave me extra bred animals for later to replace what I used.

I stopped keeping track of my breeding results. Didn't really pay attention to skips but it seems they're not nearly as frequent as when I first started breeding eons ago. I didn't bother doing much breeding until after I acquired the "Twins Rune".

I guess those of us that have been around awhile got used to the skips early on in breeding. I used to get a nice one about every 5th one. It changed when it went from the huts to the way it is now.

I used to get a at least a level 4, 5 and even a 6 from every 5th hut when starting with regular animals. Now, out of 50 breedings I will usually get a bunch of level 2, about 5 skips to 3 and maybe 1 or 2 to level 4, but out of the last 150 breedings, nothing above level 4. I guess considering that I got 6-7 out of every 50, the skips could be about 10% compared to the previous rate of 20% so not completely bad. The skips are just not as many levels on average either, at least for me. Some people do get better skips.

If I start with level 2 animals, I regularly get just level 3 and 4 out of them. It is similar with the other levels of animals, it is either the next level or a skip of just 1 level. I have tried an occasional high level (5 and above) and almost never got anything other than the next regular level. I didn't do many on that level, so don't have the figures on averages. I still have many of the breeding quests still active as it is just so difficult to get the higher levels any more.

 

I used base animals Mir, and mostly got the second level animal. I won't be doing much breeding in the future, BP has killed this part of the game for me.
