Labor of Love Event Strategy

I saw some today
Luscious Bouquets for 8000cc
Heart Shape Cakes for 10000cc
But most of the time the product is grey too.

 

Have a couple of baby farm that certainly won't do this event.

The drops come as long as I harvest.
I know I didn't grow the crops thank goodness.
Mill spins continuously anyway.

Heyyyyyyy, this is free ccs with no other trash ....... for a few seconds of mill time ........... hahahaha
Easier to get than with that parade circus too.

Yes. I feel the same way. Waiting to finish the event. Its just the habit that makes me do this event. Very boring to chase the drops and preparing the products and then the final products and the result - what do you get - 800 cc to 4000 ccs, Some EPs.... which I can get by doing regular farming...Really testing my patience. Its very tiresome.

2 poems to make a letter is the main culprit. 4 letters to make the final product... apart from other two drops....

After I finish, I look forward to sell. Still doing the Goat. After that Panda.

Ehm...a little too good I think but I will try not to complete...lol...I will get the pf....and maaaaaaybe the CR.....and maaaaaybe ONE item for it....errrhhhhmmm and then huuuuuu I still struggle the FOCD and David says it's hopeless!!!
But the CCs are sooo tempting now....I want to sell all my cakes and bouquets so maybe I will not even get the pf
I will tell you in the end and next time I want NOT to do an event - I will for sure stay away from threads like this...I get so exited reading your posts....

In that spirit: if you get the cloud row I have an extra of the cat item for you, and I'll get you the goat item too so as a compromise you can sell the bouquets and gift the cakes now don't disappoint me

finished the goat too. Got a mulch as the last prize along with the Ep Giver. Still have to do the panda.

 

Now growing long crops for drops.

 

My game is taking forever to load. Takes ages to do anything...
My market is greyed out for the products or if there is something and you try buy - 'this product has already been sold'!

 

Having the same here AniE.. Harvesting is a nightmare and cannot buy things for the event at the market ...they are grey

 

That the bouquets and cakes are grey in the market just means that there are none for sale right now. In my market they are purchased as soon as I offer them.

But do you really want to buy them? They are far cheaper to make yourself, even if you have to purchase the flowers etc. Also they don't really help if you are short on drops, because you'll still need love letters to go with them, and the letters require poem drops that are harder to get enough of than the two others...

Been out of the loop for a few days and just got started last night only have 600 junks grown - waiting for first harvest - planted carnations and they still have 45 min - I am not sure I am even going to attempt any of this and just enjoy the three day weekend haven't had one of those in awhile.
This is rated as medium but to me it is hard with the number of drop requirements and the junks to grow not very interested especially right after the monkey queen.
Also having to click and give and wait for prize click and give and wait for prize - my carpal tunnel is aching just thinking about it. Would be nice if we could click and donate multiple gifts to the animal.
I am going to plant a round of junks just cause I have CAC running and it will expire at the same time.
I will reevaluate the drops I have received at that point and figure out if I can finish in the time remaining.
Good luck everyone - I am watching for the items on the market as you folks finish up I will probably be out there buying!

 

I started the event, just on two fields and got the cat done. I started the panda and goat but after a bit decided it wasn't worth it and now I'm just selling the cake and flowers in the market. With the exception of the cat. I am still feeding the cats and occasionally get a gift for the panda and goat. We will see how far I get lol
I still have my 100 mouse pens out. I think this event and the mouse breeding event will just be money makers for me.

Arrrrrgh! Sooooo sick of growing 20+ gazillion junks! And I still have so far to go to get the last giver and CR. Made the silly mistake of trying to play around with the Cats and feed them extra Love Letters in hopes of getting some goodies to feed the Goats and Red Pandas... um yah, NO!. I basically just wasted my Love Poem drops AND my junk crops for some piddly small ep and cc prizes. Not gonna do that any more. Live and learn. And HAHAHAH @ buying said goodies at the market. Silly crazy prices already, WHEN/IF they are there to buy.

I'm trying really really hard to hoard and cherish all my precious SG and SSG that the Monkey Queen threw at me, but I am so burned out on this varmint feeding event already that I'm about ready to burn it all up just to be done with this tediously long drawn out event and get my farm fields set back up to being productive.

FOCD is torture

 

In my market the cakes are going for 21000cc and the flowers 17000cc! Yummy money for my tummy....

 

As I sit here on a sub-zero day watching the paint dry on this Labor of Love Event I went ahead and mapped my strategy for the next Moonlight Madness. If the timing is right I should be close to being able to finish Castle Fright.

 

At last completed this event fed the last needed floral gift to The Goat. Now completed The Cloud Row. I Continue to Grow Heart Blooms and Grow over Night Crops to Appreciate any Additional Drops to Win Certain Prizes I am seeking.

Now I can Change my Strategy for This Event. All Surplus Heart Cake Tins is to be Milled into Heart Shape Cakes to be either Milled into Delicious Gifts or to be Sold in The Markets for CC

Will be doing the Same for my Surplus Ribbons into Luscious Bouquets or Milled into Floral Gifts. Perhaps sell some Luscious Bouquets as you get more out of your Heart Cake Tins and Ribbons this way rather than Exchange Value at End of This Event as it now just under over 88 Hours of This Event Remaining.

Perhaps I could just Make as Many Love Letters as i can in the hope The Cat Kindly gives me Delicious Gifts or Floral Gifts. To Help Aid me Achieve some nice Additional Rewards.

At the moment i am not selling any Oats, Sunflowers,Orchids or Gerbera Crops as i can get more money crafting Luscious Bouquets and Heart Shape Cakes. That i can put good use of Drops i will gain during remainder of this Event.

Hi GuineaUp As FOCD can be Really Torture to some of Us. But I am Continue to grow Heart Blooms that i can be productive gaining Additional Suzy Super Grow, Super Grow, Power Feeds, CC. As they all help Completing Quests....Very Handy to Help Nuking Crops to Gain Additional Drops...with the Need to Drain my Farm Resouces i simply Refill any replenishment I have Consumes or at Try my Best.

I did Feed The Cat quiet a few times, hardly getting any Delicious Gifts nor Floral Gifts. So I Tried again got them bit more often. I guest it might help a bit to feed Cats in various Fields or when Feeding Red Panda or The Goat. Do not feed the same one when it gives you a decent or rare prize
