Last Candle ?

Being new here I was wondering about the Last Candle Event. Should I not be seeing it in the Farmer's Society now (7:31 am my time but 2:23 pm CET/ 14:00 start time, Thu., 11 Dec 14)? I could be confused about the time but my thinking is once it is the stated CET start time I should see it. Help me with my confusion, please.

The Last Candle Event should be visible in the Farmers Society Quest building when you have refreshed the game.

I just refreshed but still not there. I'm going to log out and back in and see if that makes the difference.

After logging out and back in: still don't have it. There has been a new icon added to my timer: A "bright" new quest but that just takes me to the Wolf Next Door quest.

reed chickens to get the gumbo chickens? The directions are pretty non-specific.

I apologise for the delay in having a clarification for you. It looks like the event was intended to be for players over level 21 only, since players below this level can only complete the first silver step and the second silver step. The big confusion was that, in the past, in such situations the events were available to everyone and you could have progressed by paying for other steps. Why this is different, we don't know exactly, but this is the explanation we have been given.

However, the good news is that you should be able to do shortly the event I see you are level 19 already, and on behalf of the Team, we have left a small present in your Pantry: Please click on your barn, the Pantry tab, and look for Quiche, then press the hand icon which will allow you to 'eat' it and automatically gain some extra EP.

I am really sorry once again for this delay, and I hope you will still enjoy this event.
