Least clicking strategy

Tired of clicking.
I may just send gifts to neighbours everyday, and leave everything as they are for a while to get some rest.
Decorations are not any problem as they are, I believe. I just do not want to see them.
I can remove fields (clearing weeds are rather depressing, you know). Do animals die? They need too many clicking, and removing them all and placing them afterwards again seems too much work.
What happens to trees? Since they do not need water, they'll survive, I believe.
Oh, I can produce a lot of feeds while I am being lazy.
I already used vacation mode at that magic tree.

So, what could be some least labour-intensive activities?

 

Just FYI... we no longer have weeds in the game. And all trees, animals, crops, decos, CRs etc will sit ready to harvest, if left. You of course will lose your daily login streak with Fuzzles if it's not collected every day.

I don't know from personal experience how little activity keeps your farm active enough to prevent your thermometer from turning red and you eventually losing your neighbors tho. Maybe just having a menagerie or manufactory out that you harvest every day? Hopefully someone else will chime in on that.

PeepsCA is correct. There are no weeds to clear and everything will be ready to harvest upon your return.

It takes several weeks of not actively playing before your thermometer turns red and begins to flash and you lose your neighbors.

I tend to put the longest growth plants in comfort fields, those are then harvested once every second or third day, and no loss.

 

What a relief, so I can leave those trees laden with fruits and flowers. Thank you for the inputs. I'd plant things of longer growth times and those required for feeds. And work really leisurely.

 

You can leave trees for as long as you wish, but you can only collect a maximum of 7 days of past fruits. If left unharvested for further, you would loose any tree fruit accumulated over a week.

If you have the Premium features, and turn off auto-tree harvest, when ready to harvest, you can turn it back on and collect up to 7 days worth of fruits.
