let us buy the crops we need to make feed eventho we aren't at that crop level yet.

I'm at level 80 and have a kiwi pen that requires 'laurel' to make feed. I can't feed my kiwis because I can't get the laurel. If u are going to allow us to have pens that use crops we cant open yet (not at the right level) then allow us to buy the crops at market. Having a kiwi pen is doing me no good if I can't make the feed for it!

 

I understand your frustration with not being able to utilize your kiwi pen but I always thought it was nice to have pens/trees/workshops in inventory that I could not use yet but would be able to use in the future instead of receiving older pens/trees/workshops that I have no use for in events/quests and nobody wants during G&T (only able to sell during G&T or trade on San Gigantic Express).

After receiving all the GB's from the Monkey Queen I just unlocked my Langsat tree on one of my farms that has been sitting in my inventory for some time. The benefit is that it was already in my inventory and I didn't have to purchase it and I could place it as soon as I unlocked the Monkey Temple statue.

Laurel is not available until Level 95. I remember when I first placed my kiwi I was not at that level I couldn't grow laurel so I had to buy the feed for it. I am not a moderator but I hope this information helps you.

 

I agree on the pens, shouldn't be able to get them before we can make our own feed. In Gift&Trade event we are no longer able to trade items we can't get ourself due to low level. I don't know when we are able to obtain the kiwi, but from there and until we can make the feed is a very long time. Too long.
Totally agree on this suggestion

 

In the Quest 'Down Under Wonder' 3/5 you gain 120 kiwi feed. That was enough kiwi feed for me as the stable takes very long to produce 1 kiwi. I haven't bought any feed for the kiwi and I got it around level 70 I think

 

U need to have a kangaroo pen before u can get to the 'feed'...

 

I know there are work arounds, mine is simply no ignore everything regarding the Kiwi, but I think the main point was when you can buy a normal pen, it's logical and natural to be able to produce it's feed as well. From L70 to whatever level the laurel is (90+), it's just too big a gap. I've had the kiwi pen for a long time, but still not able to produce it's feed.

 

I agree that the gap is too big. I was just sharing how I tried to work around this gap Actually, I think that it's not a good idea that any animal feed requires you to be level 95 considering how long it takes to get to that level. Best of luck with the kiwi. At some point in the game, you'll be happy to have it

 

I have the kiwi and I can produce its feed even though I am on 91 level. When I got the kiwi I went straight to mill feed for it. After I visited the forum and I realized that laurel is a seed we get in level 95. Hopefully I didn't mill many feeds and I kept the laurel seeds I had. Apparently I have laurel from an old event that some seeds were left over. But I decided that I should not spend them to make feed and I would keep them until I can grow them.

I like shetaz71's suggestion but I also agree with what nm56 pointed in her post. I liked the fact that we could give to other players something higher than their level which could use it in the future. But now we are not allowed to do that in G&T event and I don't like that. But I don't know what should happen about kiwi and its feed.
