Level required for event

Events usually say that they can be played at level 2. The current event has required crops/trees/animals that are available after level 2. (i.e. Goats available at level 6, potatoes at level 7, etc.) How does someone lower than level 6 get the goats needed? I don't think they are available in the market until you reach level 6.

Or can you only play the parts of the event that include things available at your current level?

I'm asking because I finally became a mentor and I need to know how to advise my chicks.

 

Congrats on becoming a mentor! You can advise your chicks that they can do the silver levels of the event. There are some nice prizes in there for new farms. It doesn't take long to level up to level 6, 7, etc but may find that there are other ways to benefit from the event such as growing chickens for quick turnover for manure sales to reinvest in their farms. Hope that helps

also not a mod, pp covered most of it, but for future reference also buying levels with BB is generally possible. Most of us would not normally recommend that, but it is a possibility, which is part of why level 2 is the base.
Also, try the strategy forum, for yourself and your chicks.

As others have indicated, you can only complete stages for which you have reached the required level unless you use BBs to complete them.
