Life is flexible! We are always changing. :p

For me, it is easier to navigate these changes when I have a plan with a goal.

I am so happy that you have one so you can concentrate on your dancing while you learn how to take care of teeth. xD:music::inlove:

Why do you desire to enroll in a University or College?

For the same reason everyone does - to get a degree.

hopy14 - glad you took the medical course. Just by taking it does not mean we leave out the other. They can mutually co exsist. You just need to balance it. Sometime you have to give more importance to one than the other. Sometimes its the vice versa. You will learn as life goes by. You profession can help you pursue hobby too. Being economically independent will help you pursue your hobby more effeciently. And women of all should be self-reliant. All the best.

Thanks 12ss12 for those kind words. You are right, women should be self-reliant. I'll always give time to my hobbies.

Does enroll in University means wanted to go to university? o_OIf yes, then you are right I want to go to university to get a degree,to learn,to get a job after that and be independent.

    The question:
    Your first reply:
One-Two waited for a little over a week and gave you a little assistance.

    Your latest response included:
I asked you the question for three reasons:
    1. to watch how quickly you would answer ....... (reasonable length of time)
    2. to understand whether or not you knew the answer to the simple question ........ (no)
    3. to help you grow up real quick ......... (quite doubtful that I will ever know)

While taking employment at a university, I was often assigned to teach a class with first and second year students. I completely understood within myself why I would attend the assigned class. (The answer: To get a paycheck. That paycheck was about all of the motivation that I needed in order to regularly attend to that class.) And very rarely would I ever bring my textbook to class.

I would just borrow a student's book. Many students have shiny new books and things. For my own reasons, I would always seem to borrow a book that seemed never to have been opened.

Anyway, I do know that regardless of what one chooses to do or engage in, there is most often an end.

The very first day with the group of people enrolled would be when I would do 99.9% of my work for the entire term. Can you believe it? And I took that work very very very very seriously because this effort had to be spectacular in order to accomplish exactly what I needed to accomplish.

That first day would go something like this:

    Hello. Good morning/ Good Afternoon.
(Of course I had no books. Rolled up in my back pocket would be the University official list of students.)

Then say nothing for about 30 seconds or more. And just look at who was there.
(I wanted to be able to remember who I saw.)

Then look out the window at the passing cars or people walking or the birds.
(Did that for a little while. Just long enough for people there to wonder what was going to happen next.)

Then came the most important question that would get my work going:

    Why are you here?

What is so very difficult about that question?

    Why are you here?

People would be looking at one another. (And I would wait and keep quiet and look at them and out the window, but wait a while.)
And no answer. None. I had thought the question though, but I doubted there would ever be answer given.

The work began and would end quickly. What did I want to do that was so important to me ....... and to them?
I wanted them to assume ALL responsibility for their own learning! ALL responsibility! If I would be successful then my work was done. Get it? The young men and young ladies would do nearly everything. They would not be learning for me. NO. They would learn for themselves.

And that assumption of responsibility for ones own learning begins by the individual understanding why they were there.

What the individuals learned and wanted to learn was amazing to me. The students would actually have me working for free because my work was done the very first day. Why you do something is up to you. The reason why you do anything is entirely up to you and not me and not your parents and not who you may think are your friends. YOU.

If YOU desire to learn dancing, then YOU assume the responsibility of learning dance for YOU. If YOU desire to learn dentistry, then YOU assume the responsibility of learning dentistry for YOU. And no one can do this for YOU.

hopy14, If you cannot answer and for yourself and to yourself why you are enrolling in a University, then you will have needless difficulty remaining there. Why go to school then? (Society does not make individuals attend a College or University.)

If you consciously understand why you are doing whatever it is that you are doing, then you are well on your way to completing whatever it is that you have started. You will also find enjoyment in most everything that you do.

And no one can answer that question for you or can help you with the answer but you.

I wish you the very best experiences in real life.
