Totally agree Julie thought it was a typing error but obviously not.

its not a game anymore, its becoming a cash cow for someone.

I noticed previously there was a 'Devs blog but last one was 2 years ago and you use to get a monthly report acknowledging any issues arising from game in the form of these feedbacks from the people that play it. Obviously thats not the case anymore

So we have 2 events running at the same time and both require use of the mill? That is poor planning on BP's part. Also, the whole milling thing is not helpful in being able to keep on top of normal animal feed and pf.

I was getting sick and tired of the non-stop events already, you can't even grow normal crops anymore... now two at once? This is beyond stupid. This is a game, not life

I totally posted in the wrong place and started a new thread....I thought I was the only one unnerved by another event...I think this new event could have waited a few days...PLUS another MILL product...u cant make feed for your animals...and grow crops---kidding u cant...u have to go buy anything u need...

Also what I dont like is that the magic tree is not giving a drop, whats the point then if BP is going to pick and choose when it will give a drop...why have the tree at all???

AND...CAC doesnt work here...what is going on!!!!

My other feedback is on the Carnival Queen thread. On this one, despite the other issues, I glad to see we are using some of the other spaces for other tasks, that don't require tearing up our 5 normal land masses (if you opened them all). This should make to event open to newer players too.

However, too many events at one time is really bad. I also like to enjoy playing, achieving the rewards. But, no matter how generous the drops, beautiful the graphics, or fun in playing the game, too much is too much.

I am also not thrilled with two events running at the same time. >:(

And now we get a barn emptier to 'assist' with Little Helpers, some havent had time to do normal farming to fill barn. Nice one BP. I will see what I can give up to help as away with family and trying to deal with 3 events will take its toil

First impression:Not nice to have two events at the same time... BUT..
    PRO:
    a) they are happening on different playfields
    b) I presume milling won't be possible until having at least grown enough chocolate roses to open up the additional parts of the event field and having at least 370 popcorn.. which I think takes some time, so that milling for the Carnival event should be done by then. Carnival milling takes just a few seconds.
    c) very long event time of 10 days, so this event runs still 5 days after finishing the carnival event.
    d) imho very nice prizes being worth it to play this event esp. as we can play up to the end of the event, even when tasks are finished
    e) nobody is forced to play all events, if it's not fitting the time schedule of RL. I know myself, that taking part in events is really nervwrecking, when there are too many things going on, so I didn't finish some events by choice.

    Contra:
    a) the choice of growing times with 4 and 6 hours is quite bad, as this means, overnight there will be a gap of at least 2 hours for me (last sowing at around 11 pm, harvest at 7-8 am). Better choice would have been to have 4 and 8 hour crops. We will see, how this laying idle has an impact on the drop rate.

Could be, that I change my impression, when the event is in full swing ;)

    Anyway.. Good Luck to all

Not many people have time to do all that is needed for these events, the growing times are long and sometimes I wonder if the people who plan these things even know or care that there is a real world out there with other things going on in players' lives.
Yes, the 'little helpers' is a long event - but it's getting so that this is an event driven game with farming as an optional extra to service the events.

I have been playing since 2010 and these events are blurring into 'oh look another one, shrugs'. I'm sure for newer players the prizes are good and needful, for me, they are merely filling another space in my inventory if they aren't what I particularly want. I rather like the ladybird, so shall go for that - as for the rest, I'm tired of events.

It would be nice to have a week with none at all - so we can all get on with farming. Isn't that what this game is supposed to be?

Oh and I got one skewer from overnight planting, so at this rate it will be a week just to get enough (16 apparently) to do one milling.

  14. Update on post yesterday, rather than edit - still not enough skewer drops from the fields to mill even one barbequed thingy. I'm afraid BigPoint this has become a 'do I care enough to bother' event.

Like the structure of this event. I at least like that I am able to participate and get some good rewards (namely the stars and other rewards from the accompanying quest). Not sure the event is structured well to enable me to actually participate in the event portion. The drops are simply not high enough to enable competitive participation, even if I had all day and night to dedicate to playing. With only one playing field in action the drops need to be higher. Breeding is another option for drops, but we just had a breeding event which required an abusive amount of PF - it is simply unacceptable to assume that people are still able to breed in bulk to get the required drops at this time. Another move, I suspect, to encourage RL payment.

Still, I suppose I should be grateful we've finally been blessed with an event I can partake in at all.

I don't mind how many events we have because I don't do them all. I pick out the more interesting or lucrative ones and do those. :):)

We have almost 6 days left to get the skewers and complete the event.

It is only available on the event playfield. This event isn't played on the regular fields :D

Time. not enough for the quest. This one gets the shaft for running along side a bigger event. and the handicap of no usable buffs to get through half the quest let alone finish it. exorbitant numbers to get one rainbow skewer?, to get six for the quest plus all the roses on real life schedule is a bit too iffy.
I vote this one poorly thought out.
Update: I now vote this the best way to watch paint dry without painting.
This is horribly slow going. Fruity thing ran out days ago, so I'm left with an extra 200 per harvest. gawd I hope they realize that there's a majority of adult players here who have jobs, kids, laundry and other things that may be boring, but setting out such a painful event like this is starting to make me wish I never started this thing and that's the first time I've felt like this. I'm going now to scrub my floor for excitement.
