I have lost my animals when I put them in the breeding pen along with my power feed. So far I have lost 11 animals and food. How can I get them back?

When you put animals into a breeding pen, you get a coloured animal of a higher level, the original 4 are not returned, as explained in the {FAQ} Coloured animals: How to make them
