Can the Lychees and Parrots be placed on the same field and produced at the same time or must each tree and animal be treated as a different entity? I have both one the same field and have "harvested" parrots. The amount of parrots has not been subtracted from the initial sum. The procedure was not explained clearly. Could you please help me (and others) to be informed of the correct procedure. Thank you,

    Hello ortrud_oc :)

Yes, parrots and lychee trees can be on the same field.

Have you started the quest timer in the Farmer Society Building in the city? You must start the quest before harvesting for the items (parrots and lychees) to count towards the quest.

    From the FSQ FAQ:
Timed Quests - marked with the timer icon:

These quests require fresh products. For example, crops harvested within the specified time. You cannot donate items from your Barn or that you have purchased from the Market, the only items valid for these quests are the ones freshly harvested (they will go straight into the quest at harvest, you will not see them in your Barn).

You must finish the contract within the allotted time. Each timed contract has its own time requirement (in hours):

Tip: Before starting the Quest, you can have a part (roughly half) of the requested items "ready" on your farm. Just before harvesting, you go to the Farmer's Society, start the quest, then go back to your farm, and harvest your products. This saves you the first part of growing time. Time shortening buffs will work for the harvests required here (as long as you start the buff before seeding/feeding your crops/animals), as well as harvest bonus products.

Note: If you do not finish the quest in time or you cancel it, the already donated resources will be returned to your Barn (you will not lose partially donated resources for the timed quests). You can cancel a timed quest by pressing the red "Cancel" button, and accept the confirmation layer.

Please note that you can only start 1 timed quest at a time!

    May I assist you further?

Thank you. So I can do two quests at the same time, but not start them at the same time? They can run simultaneously, but with different starting times? Is tat correct. Or first finish the one, then the other in the provided time?

You may only do one timed quest at a time. Once you have donated all the parrots and lychees required, the timed portion for that stage is over regardless of how much time is remaining. Then you are able to start a second timed quest (elephants and cocoa) when you are ready.

    May I assist you further?

Thank you very much. Thanks God we do not play in 2010 otherwise we would have lost our crops. How times have changed and the lovely rainstorms when we lost a tiny amount of our crops. Those were the days of "real farming". Look forward and not back. Have a entertaining shift and thank you for giving so much of your time so that we can enjoy farming.

You're very welcome:) Thank you for your kind words. The game has changed a lot over the years but still a lot of fun that keeps us coming back everyday. Good luck with your Crystal Falls quest. Happy Farming!

    No further questions.
