    Howdy Farmers,

We hope the panic, disappointment and confusion are 'history' now (one can hope!), so here is a thread for you to post your feedback regarding this month's Wonder Stables edition, special package offer, as well as the Guess Who "event" that turned into a permanent quest.

The announcements can be found here and here, and the FAQ here.

We apologise for the confusion and misunderstanding, but we hope you are happier with the change.
    Best regards,
    Your Farmerama Team

I am happier with the change, we can now take our time with the quest and of course the added bonus is that the stars are now back. It would have been nicer if I had got the correct information when I asked the question about stars in general questions and not consequently and in a fit of 'pique' then flogged my wolfs having decided that I would not participate in a short term quest with little reward. Terrific news overall though as it is now a permanent quest .... will just have to grow more wolfs..

    Hello kmellish

I apologise for the inconvenience, but I would like to point out that the information was correct when you asked and you have received an answer, it was what we knew - as event, it was not supposed to give stars. The changed was literally announced in 2 minutes after finding out about it.
    Best regards,

It's sad that BP waits until there is uproar to change a quest rather than listening to all the feedback (including the cinema surveys) to understand that they are making too many demands. Are you just hoping everyone that plays will spend BBs to make up for this?

Teddy, really it is ok and no need to apologise. You can only hand out the information you have at the time ... and I need to learn to be a bit more patient....:sleepy:

I'm very, very happy the event was turned into a permanent quest and just as happy that stars were added! So lots of love from me for doing that! :inlove:

Planning on getting quite a few mystery stables in the mini event, but I won't get the package as I think 20+ BB per stable instead of 15 just isn't worth it to get the new one guaranteed. A bit sad the cat pen is on it's way out so I'm hoping to get at least one of those, although I do have one on my other farm. I love the mystery stables, and it's one of my favourite (mini)events, although sadly it's usually only in the beginning (with a new farm) they're worth the BB so have skipped it or only gotten 1-2 stables many times on my high lvl farm. Since this baby farm have hardly any rare pens (or upgrades) I will invest in lots of them this time (been saving my BB in anticipation of this event specifically). Will also participate in the next one I'm sure, and depending on the outcome then I'll decide if I'll continue doing so in future ones as well or not.

I've got to admit, I'm relieved and glad of the change. I understand fully that the quest was designed to be difficult, and I can live with that. I like a challenge, and I have all the required animals besides the platypus. In fact, made a killing on the market before the change;). Difficult is fine, but nearly impossible is unacceptable.>:( I was actually a bit offended by the quest in it's original short time form.-.- We can't complete the last level without having a platypus pen. We can't get the platypus pen anywhere but mystery stables. And the only way to be sure you will get one is buy the ridiculously priced package, and use PF to speed grow your platypi (or is it platypuses?:pxD). I don't like being essentially hijacked and forced into a buying situation. Takes all the fun out of waiting to see what you get, so it would have essentially ruined 2 events, not just one. A word to the wise at BP - this approach will drive players away. So sleep deprived I didn't event notice the lack of stars in the original FAQ.:wuerg: Change isn't always for the better, but these changes are most definitely an improvement. Two paws up! ;)

I'm really, really unhappy with this change.

I LOVED that there was an admittedly difficult challenge coming up, I put some money into this game and I have enough rare pens
that with some work I could have pulled this off in a weekend and had a rare workshop that the majority didn't have.
I cleared all my fields this morning and put out my abundance of Cats, Mice and Storks (which I just sold all of yesterday!) to prepare.

It felt to me like BP was finally giving a reward to the players that put money into the game and could have completed this in the original time frame... and now you took that away from us. It always seems like the players that don't like to put real money into this game have the biggest voice and that's just not fair.

I AM NOT putting down any player who does not/or can't put real money into the game so don't start hating on me, not doing that at
all. The people that buy 1 mystery stable or 1 seedling couldn't finish this without buying all the animals and that's their personal choice.

I just don't think there is anything wrong with a little benefit to those of us that do use real money to help keep this game going, I was all excited for this one and once again, a big let down.

Hello, thank you for changing this event into a permanent quest as opposed to the original event quest. I am happy that the stars are put into them BUT however I do not think that it seems fair for the last part to have all 25 storks, 25 wolves, 20 kiwis and 7 platypuses as a silver task... maybe divide them up into 3 tasks because I am sorry to say but all that is NOT worth 1 star.
Maybe put task 1... 5 storks, 5 kiwis, 5 wolves, and 2 platypuses... then task 2... and so on...

It is a fair change, considering that most of the animals come from mysterious or otherwise named stables and not from workshops or animal shop. Very few people would have all the stables, so the CC reserve has to be enormous to finalize the quest without the stables.
So, a Thank you in this situation is well deserved;)

I think you might be surprised at how many players have the ability to complete this quest as originally planned.
I also liked the idea of a hard weekend quest.

I'm happy with the change and don't mind the challenge. If every quest was easy to do, it wouldn't be worth playing.

sorry even with the changes this event is not worth doing. Many of the animals asked for I am still trying to get sables for.

I was not unhappy by the high level of the event, nor the short term. It is perfectly OK to have events that not all can do, because events that everyone can do get boring for higher level players. The big thing is to communicate and in this case, you posted it as a "hard" event, which was great. . My only real criticism is that the rewards seemed minor for what was asked.

I am looking forward to the seedling sale, but am a tad puzzled that it was put on the preview calender as an event, sort of seeming like a quest. Not a big deal, just confusing.

EDIT: now that I have gone through the permanent quest, I have to agree with those who say its a rather disappointing offering, particularly the last stage. I will probably complete most of the quest, just because I have so very many rare pens. but it will be a long time before I complete the last stage.

I don't like the rewards of this permanent quest. I am not sure if it is worth buying the requirements to win these prizes...

Well this sucks - just bought 20 Lyra stalls, fast-tracked em in my (foolish) excitement, not a single platypus. I said last time I wouldn't get suckered again and I just did. Note to self - YOU'RE AN IDIOT:mad:.

I didn't get tempted with the "Special" Seedling offer the last time, and I didn't get tempted to buy the LYRA Wonder Stable Offer.....but I was, and I am, pleasantly surprised that the new items are not exclusively obtainable by falling for the "1 New Item Guaranteed" offer.
The only hiccup is, that obviously this time Classic Beaver Dam II, Mouse Stall and Mole Stall seem to be the flavor of the day....at least in my case. For the event I'm neither sad, nor glad, that it was changed into a permanent quest....as for the rewards I'm confused by the up and down in quantity and quality. The requirements on this one are challenging (good), but offer little in return (bad)....except for the new workshop. Anyway, after all the excitement/panic/frustration/relieve it adds something new to work on, and that is definitely positive.

P.S. For me it would have been enough to extend the use of the already existing animals.....creating workshops and quests for some, and creating breeding extension for others. (The elephant breeding rumor is around for eons, why not shock everyone and make it a reality.)

I did not realize this was for both the event and the sale, both, so apologize for posting again. I like getting a guaranteed new pen with the packs. The cost is rather high, but I suppose not terribly unreasonable for what is offered. However, one big difference between animal packs and tree packs is pure space. I already have more than enough GOOD pens (some rare pens, some orange, red and pink, many workshops, etc.) to fill all my fields. This really diminishes the attraction of the pack.

Rather than a pack, I might like to see the option to just outright buy one guaranteed pen. Place a limit on the number we can buy, like you do for special pets and maybe only have it for a limited time, but I think that might be a lot more desirable to many people. These huge packs tend to skew the market and skew the game toward those of us who are able to spend some money.

After seeing what I got from my pens, I have mixed feelings. I did get a couple of platypus and even a kiwi. However, I also got a yellow cow milk and orange chicken, plus other pens that are not bad, but for which I just don't have room.

EDIT: I have heard reference to 60BB for a rare pen/tree, based on the price of 30 wonder pens, andt hen the leftover for the special pen/tree. I cannot say if I would pay 60BB for one. Likely I would. However, I think that would be a more fair way to offer these new specials.... that is, allow everyone to buy 1 or 2 of the new pen/tree for a limited time, along with the special random wonder pens/trees. Personally, I might also like to see an option to buy the one that is heading out, but I am perhaps greedy in that regard.

Finally, I do think that you are bringing out a lot of rare pens and that we need more quests for things we already have -- regular and specials, both. I think you are trying in that regard, heading in the right direction, but still not quite "there" yet. I also think you need to continue to offer some quest for higher level players, but the rewards need to be thought out a bit better, so they are "worth it", but not so great as to unbalance the game further. (that is, those who have started early already have a huge advantage). and, as I have stated before, it would help to offer some easy quests right along side the harder ones. That way people won't feel so left out/cheated. I DEFINITELY like the labeling... but think you need to put that in the news banner, the announcement, not just in the forum, precisely because its the new players and those who don't necessarily visit the forum that re going to be the ones most needing the label.
