I went to sell manure in the market and the highest price I could charge was $40.20. It was explained before that the price was based on market average and also if I had capability to charge more because of rune.

My question is if this is based on average where did the price of $40.20 come from? The next lowest price was $166.88 and the high price was $616.86 and there were close to 80 pages of offers.

Update: Checked Market a 2nd time
I checked price and new offer I can make is 41.00 and high price is $617.01 with 68 pages. Second high price wasw $195.xx.

The computer apparently has adjusted the prices that can be charged in the market so why hasn't it inceased more. The high price is still in the $600 range -- this does not appear to be an average.

    Hello nm561

The prices on the market are dynamic, they go higher and lower depending on the offer and demand. The highest offers you see must have been posted during the peak times of the previous event - the lower priced ones were purchased since a new event requesting lots of event crops has started today, and the prices will only go higher as the cheapest offers are being sold. The high price you see is not the average at the moment, but as more manure will be sold and bought at higher prices, the 'average' price will go higher and higher.

If you will check again tomorrow, the manure prices should be higher, the maximum allowed will be higher as well, increasing the recommended/average price as well.

That is all we know about the market however, the exact formulas have not been and will not be revealed by the Team, nor the exact steps of increasing or lowering the maximum and average prices, but I hope this makes a little bit of sense!

Is there anything else we could assist you with?
    Best regards,
    teddy.bear

When they exlained it before as being the average of the market, the higher prices that some people are alowed to charge, the delay in the market, etc. I thought I understood.

When I saw that there were close to 80 pages of offers the first time with a low offer (before my offer) of $166.88 and a high of $616.86 and then the second time the 2nd low offer was $195.xx (my offer was lower at $40.20) and a high price of $617.01 with 68 pages of offers realized that from what I was told this just didn't make since to me. Since there is a Labor of Love Event going on the average should rise. Most (68 pages) of the offers were over $195.xx (less than one page of offers at $40.20 and only one offer less than $40.20) so this told me I had no idea what was going on.

Since this is not "real" money -- just game cc's -- I guess I shouldn't worry about it - just trying to understand how game worked.

    Go ahead and close thread.
