Just stole somebody's medlar fruit for 250cc each (bought 100) and sold them for 2500 each. Think somebody forgot their 0, so sorry for them but thanks!

 

It's weirding me out to see L2 breeding animals at 1/2 the price of L1 . Of course, I'm just the type to take advantage of that, lol.

TC, I just discovered we're on the same market. You can tell me if I price something ridiculously low.

Just got an anniversary bouquet, bread roll, pear jam and apple jam for 0.10cc each. Thanks to whoever listed them, hoping to boost my ccs!

Wish I could find the great bargains you guys all seem so adept at finding, I get some good prices, but don't seem to get the dirt cheap items . That's okay, I'm having fun playing, loosening up my purse strings a little . I bought 10 Easter Marmelade yesterday for 40,000 each, which I realize isn't a great deal, but if I'm right in my speculation, and the comic event requires a certain amount of EP gain to progress, then I should be able to resell those at significant profit with little difficulty. I'm amazed at the animals, tho, investing quite a bit of CC in basic animals (sheep, pigs, cows, horses) that are selling below what they normally should (I don't buy horses often, but 480 seems like a steal when you consider the median price is 464). My thought process is that if I stock up on cheap base animals, I've got enough inventory for event donations and selling/breeding during BB, so I can put out the higher priced rare animal pens that I am low on, such as bats, crows, etc. There's a seller on my market, wendy1954, who I love, because she sells at good prices in bunches of at least 10, so I don't have to click, click, click all morning , so if you happen to see this wendy, thank you, and keep up the good work! Back to shopping .

 

I am doing the same Spots. I promise myself not to get below a certain amount (which started at 4 million and has now dwindled down to a million and below lol!) but I love to buy big lots. I want to get 1000 of each animal and 500 of each product so when I buy 100 of something, I think of all the work that I've saved myself!

I was almost there on this farm a few weeks ago, then we had an event that required lots of animals and I used some and sold the rest - hence why I made it to 4 million on both farms! It doesn't last long with me though.

I haven't opened up any artisan workshops yet and have been accumulating the base products with the intention of waiting till I have 20k of preserving sugar before I open Confectionery. But in between time, I have been buying up CAC when it goes below 40k, my rational being that I can use it or, if it becomes a much desired item in the market, I can sell it for a good profit. So it will be win win for me.

Anyway, going off topic, so back again. Spots, it is very rare that I come across those wonderful sales (which are quite sad in a way, as it means that someone is leaving the game). I did happen upon one a week or so ago and managed to get lots of (among other bits and pieces) Parrot Feathers and Eggs at 0.10. The first one I flicked past and had to came back to lol! A real DOH! moment. Then it is just a matter of trying to follow the trail of the seller - and clicking before someone else!

Farmer-broke: am I getting better at this market game or I am still making you giggle?

 

FB: I have learned that, although it is nice having a full barn, it is equally if not more satisfying, to have a healthy CC balance. So, at last, I can let my critters go for the right price. Then spend, spend, spend on all those other glittery things in the market!

I have taken to checking out both animals and products and scooping up anything I think is under-priced - this sounds like a strategy used by some of my farming friends ... sound familiar FB?

 

Just scooped up 2 Cocoas for 91.94 . I see speckled goats are finally starting to drop, when they get back to my buying range (750ish) I'll start buying again. Woke up this morning with a horrible cough and about 2 million extra CCs, so decided to go shopping.

 

What else can you do with your fields while you are out shopping?

 

Wow! You guys are finding some great deals! I only find them rarely so cannot depend on them for boosting stocks or turning CC to generate income.

 

Don't feel lonely, pnp, I never find the good deals that broke and the others seem to get, that's why those cocoas got me so excited, lol. Plus, it was a good way to pass time while I drank some hot tea.

Thank you, broke, I seem to have caught a cold to start my new year off right . Last week it was DIL got sick for Christmas, then MIL caught his cold, now I seem to have one, even tho we put off getting together with them until this week. Looks like it will be next week before they get their Christmas presents, lol, unless husband succumbs to my hacking and wheezing . And yes, I've been buying the odd black goat, and any other second tier breeders who's prices have fallen while their L1's have risen. As for the market settling, every time I think it is, it goes wacko again, lol. (am I the only one who starts singing "Rubber duckie, you're the one..." whenever they see rubber ducks in the market??)

I just found the best buys in feeds, ♫I'm so excited! And I just can't hide it!♫ I got 400 camel feed at 226.77 (next price was 894.2), 100 spider feed at 364.29(there were 2 more offers of 100 for the same price, but I wasn't fast enough, lol). There was one feed I got for 17.93 in lots of 100, can't remember what it was, but it wasn't a basic feed. *Doing a happy dance*. Spent almost a million CC, but shouldn't have to mill anything but PF for a very long time.
