Mentoring

Since I'm on the bandwagon, I thought I would pursue another thread.

I applied to be a mentor over a year ago. When I have asked about the mentoring, the response I have gotten (in the past) is it takes a while, and you're working out the glitches.

Since this time, the game has initiated a handful of new breeding animals, now the neon stalls, and other changes to the game....with no fixes for that which is suppose to be already part of the game.

I continue to "mentor" without the bonus' and benefits that are suppose to come from a "mentor" position. Is the mentoring basically locked for anyone that hasn't been part of the game (since the beginning)? Why is it still in game if it isn't going to be used?

I am really tired of the items that only benefit a few. I appreciate you need to keep it interesting for those who have completed EVERYTHING, but I am feeling like a part of the USA middle class. I just get to pay pay pay pay pay pay pay to play.

So my question is, when are you going to stop adding things and complete the half done, not working, give me another excuse to make up for the lack of competence, items that are suppose to part of the game - such as the mentoring - and are still not functional.

And if the answer is really "We decided we don't want you as a mentor", than say as much and don't keep saying we're still working on it - at more than a year since my request went in.

The mentors are automatically approved by the system. As far as we are informed, the system still works, mentors still get chickadees assigned. No further development will be done at the moment, the system was announced that it was put on hold and explained in a past producer newsletter. We don't know when and if it will be improved, I am sorry.

Paying is your choice - you don't need to pay to play; the game is free to play and many players do not spend a cent on the game. Paying gives you certain advantages but none are mandatory.

A small reminder - the mod team is formed by volunteer players, so please be more considerate with the tone used when posting. Thank you for your understanding. The feedback section can be found a little bit lower on the Forum, and constructive criticism is always welcomed and appreciated.

I owe an apology for being "snarky". I do feel the items that have already been introduced to game, should be working - before anything else is introduced. I am frustrated by the amount of new things that have entered the game, since it has been stated there are problems with the mentoring part (within the game).

I feel it is constructive, my critique regarding the continued entry of new items (while the mentoring opportunity is left broken).
