The item "Beach Bar" gives 5x Open Coconuts every 22 hours the event time. With second upgrade gives 8x Open Coconuts.

Thanks for crunching the numbers SahraB. Not sure it is worth doing but as it is on the 'proper'event field, I will grow the crops and see how I go. There are an awful lot of other stuff needed and many many people will not have them open on Baha.
Is it worth doing the complementary event as well or instead of?

I will grow and collect and see how I get on, decide on whether I do the event or the complementary event or both or neither. Nothing lost with the event crops being on the event playing field. I will continue farming on the other fields as I would normally.

I will not be stressing with this one, there isn't anything in any of the prizes that made me sit up and start my strategy! Did I miss anything?

I will be skipping this event. I have everything in my barn ready to go but the last few events have proved to be hard for me due to some real life events. I just don't have the stamina right now to worry over counting crops/drops and fretting if I'm short. I've been short the last couple of events but that was my own doing as I was not able to devote time and attention as I normally am.

All those things are impossible for us to have ...with the amount of events we have had... we haven't had time to build our farms up with all these things needed

I had sit the April fool event out, And I consider to sat this one out too.
Why, maybe really got tired of endless event Or. BP recent business style
make me feel...not so good.....
To let me remember I do not had FOCD. Recently I seem to follow BP to
do every event even those seem not possible.
So, the first step is try to stop take part in event.

The Baha fields give the flower garlands which are only needed for the support quest. I am only doing what needs to be done on the support quest to get the bar upgrades.

Event runs for 6 days. Provided you'll get enough drops (open coconut and wooden planks) here's my time scedule for doing all 150 tasks:

1,860x Hangloosia(Time: 7 hours)
with water: 5:36 hrs
with water + manure: 5:02 hrs

1st. Get enough seeds to plant a full field (160 1x1 plots) This can be done today IF you planted right away at the start.
2nd. 160 1x1 plots provide 160 seeds for replant + 160 seeds for donation -> 1860/160 = 11 full field harvests + remaining seeds are needed. With water and manure applied, 4 harvests per day can be done -> to get the required # of crops it'll take 2.5 days. No slacking!!

2,405x Prismberry(Time: 5 hours)
With water: 4:00 hrs
With water + manure: 3:36 hrs

1st. Get enough seeds to plant a full field (160 1x1 plots). This can be done today IF you planted right away at the start.
2nd. Wait till you finished growing the needed Hangloosia.
3rd. 160 1x1 plots provide 160 seeds for replant + 160 seeds for donation -> 2405/160 = 14 full field harvests + remaining seeds are needed. With water and manure applied, 5 harvests per day can be done -> to get the required # of crops it'll take 3 days. No slacking!!

All in all there's about half a day spare time if wanting to do 150 tasks. Seems wise just to aim for the CR by doing 50 tasks on each side. Saves about 1.5 harvests of Hangloosia (-240 crops) and 2.5 harvests of Prismberry (-400 crops)

The 'Support' Quest seems 100% useless if you aren't in very desperate need for Golden Bananas.

I did have a closer look to the requirements/rewards/time and decided to do all 75 tasks on the left side (2405 prismberry needed) and 25 tasks on the right side (only 640 hangloosia needed). This way I'll get the CR way before event ends. Any extra time and growing is a bonus.
Also remember that on the special playfield any plot size gives the same outcome; any full field will yield 160 crops. When the drop rate for coconuts is ok, do save water and manure by using as many 2x2 and 1x2 you can and use 1x1 only to fill up!

 

Where do you get the base of the Beach bar???

 

You get the base of the Beach bar as a reward after completing five tasks on the Main Progress Bar.

Thank you for sharing your strategy! @habalala I wasn't able to start at the beginning this morning. I couldn't get on till around 10:30 am CST. So like 4 or 5 hours behind I think.

Does anyone know if it matters where we put the beach bar once we obtain it?

 

From the FAQ - can be placed on all the 3 main and 3 tropical fields, park, shipwreck bay, cloudrow

 

I think I can do this one. The only crop or otherwise not opened is chayote, hopefully the BB cost won't be too steep. I am going as far as I can. I have learned not to stress over events anymore, if I finish, great, if not, c'est la vie. IT'S JUST A GAME. (Took me a looooooong time to get to this point.)

 

Hooray for you baw! I think I finally have reached that point too, just play to enjoy. I admit I got a little hot under the collar with this one, tho. My rant in feedback isn't so much a protest of the game itself, which I still love, as much as disgust with the tricks BP's playing to force us to buy, buy, buy. I admit I spend on certain things, and I understand fully that purchasers do and should get an advantage, but you shouldn't say "here, we'll help ALL of you", then jerk the rug out from under us by whispering "if you're willing to pay". Sorry, still a little irked.

Back on subject, I too will do as much as possible. My schedule's so topsy turvy I never have regular playing hours, but did manage to get started shortly after event start today. Am supposed to be going to town tomorrow, so will plant the longest crop with water only, then hope I remember to harvest while shopping (I usually forget). All 3 farms will go as far as possible, tho only doing companion quest on spots and bear since mini me doesn't have some of the Baha items open and no GB to do so. Just going to enjoy what I get accomplished and let it take care of itself.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllll, now back at the estate and sittin under the broke tree watchin the fish jumpin in the pond.

Annnnnnnnnnnnnd I guess I'm ah wonderin why I'm always broke.
