@Octroo I can't give any better advice than Northy as I learn from him, but if I may offer an observation from my own experience in this event. Somehow I managed to finish all races with crops to spare. I had a few 100% Harvest buffs (diamond slot) and some +1 Plant buffs (gold slot). I used these along with a Pinkest Pie to get the most time possible. I cleared both fields and put down 1x1 plots and had a few long grow trees around the edges. Initially, I planted event crops over and over. As I am able to harvest several times a day, I tried to harvest as crops became ready. I also used water, poo, Super grow and Susie's Super grow as much as possible on event crops. As I accumulated drops, I milled the XL cans and a few basic cans to start the race if needed. As you mention, drops were my challenge as well. My personal strategy was to make XL fuel cans and move ahead using the three forward pointing arrows. I stayed mostly in the same lane. Once I had a good stock of event crops, I switched to my longest grow crop and used water/poo, and if it was during the day and I had a good stock, I added some SG (green goo) to speed up the harvest time. I agree w/Northy that it seems drops increase as the days go by. I also agree that having space to grow/store items has been key for me to advance in the game, no matter which area I'm focused on. Good luck in all your farming goals!

Use calculator and just look which gives most value for money. Those wonder stable animals may be expensive for their value.

Thanks so much for your amazing help! I doubt I can get the cloudrow, but I do have all three givers as I'd hoped I might if I try really hard. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Both to you amazing people for your advice and to my lovely friends old and new. :inlove:

@MeadowCrossing Thank you so much for the add, I was delighted to welcome you to my little group of friends. And I very much hear you and Nordais on expanding your lands rather than trying for cloudrows, but you see, I've only climbed up the beanstalk the other week, so cloudrows are really new and exciting to me right now. Rationally I know better, emotionally though... givers and cloudrows are soooo nifty?

Thanks @-Päärynä11, but I unfortunately saw your warning too late. On the plus side, I do now own two 15/15 trophies which I assume will come in handy eventually. And I'm reasonably confident that I'll gain back the millions I sunk into that project in time.

@Octroo Totally understand the draw of CR and all the other goodies. They are quite nifty, indeed - and delightful works of art!
I'm pleased you seem the type of player who won't become discouraged and quit because you tried but were unable to gain the rewards every time. It's nice when we can have that attitude and continue on towards the next aspect of the game which catches our fancy. Enjoying time here and learning, growing, and sharing are the things which make the game so enjoyable for me. May you have a long, happy farming experience! :)
