Mill is broken

I have 24 hours left on my mill subscription. I was just going to mill more power feed but it has 6.37 showing for milling 1 and, bizarrely, for 2 power feed it states 15.37.

I am a bit aggrieved at this waste of my mill subscription as I am now preparing to mill animal feed instead when I bought it to primarily mill PF.

This is correct, I am really sorry, there is no bug. The end of subscription calculations have been explained step by step in this thread - it would be great if you could check it out.

To maximize its effect, you should mill in small batches that do not exceed the remaining subscription time.

I have read the thread but the issue has definitely not been explained by the end of subscriptions calculations. As I said in my initial thread - I could not mill even one power feed at the reduced time even though I had 24 hours left.

I now have 15 hours subscription left but the mill is now showing 7 hrs 29 minutes to produce one power feed. How can anyone think that this could possibly be correct?!

 

There is definitely a glitch as the mill now states 8 hrs 5 minutes for one power feed with just less than 15 hrs subs left. I would be happy to share a print of the screen if you tell me how to do it because this is exasperating!

 

Are you milling something right now? And if so how long is it until that is finished?

 

I had nothing milling when I wrote my reply. I have just started to mill a small amount of animal feed while I wait in vain for this to be fixed

With all due respect, the thread is surely addressing this exact matter, and I will try to explain it again. If you have 15 hours left of your subscription, and you want to mill 3 units of power feed, this is how the system will do the math:
3 units of power feed take 3 x 10 hours = 30 hours. From the 30 hours, only 15 hours will be affected by the subscription, so the first 15 hours will be reduced with 50%, to 7.5 hours, plus the remaining 15 hours = a total of 22.5 hours for 3 units of power feed.

There is nothing to be fixed, the calculations are intended this way - it seems a lot more, but it is the way it is supposed to be .

Please do share a screenshot, with the timer showing the remaining subscription time, and the milling time displayed in the mill, and I will be happy to break it down for that specific example as well.

jnnythct, none of your screenshots are clear enough to see the numbers but thank you for going through the trouble of taking and posting them. I will be checking your account now and write down the numbers to explain an example, and get back with an update.

Actually, I see your mill subscription is over but I'll work with your logs and info posted to clarify this matter.

Update:

Here we go. I have checked your logs and your subscription ended at 19.05.2015, 23:02:29 CEST. That means at 10:39 AM this morning, when you posted the first time, you had 12 hours and 23 minutes left of the subscription time.

One power feed, reduced with 50%, should have taken 10 hours - 10% (rune) = 9 hours - 50% (subscription) = 4 hours and a half.
Two units, should have taken 20 hours - 10% = 18 hours. From the 18 hours, only 12 hours and 23 minutes were reduced with 50%, so that means 6 hours and 12 minutes + the remaining time unaffected by the subscription, which is 18 hours - 12 h 23 m = 5 hours and 37 minutes, so it should take a total of 11 hours and 49 minutes for 2 units.

I checked your logs, and I noticed you have not made 1 or 2 unites of power feed, but 3, from 2015-06-18 01:11:06 to 2015-06-18 17:15:25 CEST -. At 1 AM last night you still had 21 hours and 51 minutes left of the subscription . The production of 3 units of power feed should have taken 30 hours.
30 hours - 3 hours (10% rune) = 27 hours,
out of which 21 h and 51 m were reduced with 50% = 10 hours and 55 minutes +
the remaining time after the subscription : 27 - 21 h 51 m = 5h and 8 minutes
= 16 hours and 4 minutes for 3 units of power feed.

from 1:11 to 17:15 = 16 hours and 4 minutes, so the buff was applied correctly.

I hope this makes sense If it doesn't, please let us know which part is unclear, and we will try again.
