Feedback Mini Events: August 2017

Transatlantic Express: When I first started it was harder to upgrade pens and trees. I was glad to have an orange pen or even a yellow one. The tree upgrades didn't matter much because they were only harvested once per day regardless of what size I had. Now you can't trade them during G&T; even the new players don't want them. Everyone is looking for Neon, Pink and sometimes Red upgrades and XXL trees.

The train gives us a way to get something we might use for something else that is just sitting in inventory.

This farm has traded for all the mainland trees except the Yew and Baha still needs Jujube, Tiki and Yangmei. update -- just got that one

Nublons Recyclomat: I sat this last one out because the requirements are just so high and I also don't like it because any excess donated is lost instead of being carried over to the next event.

Wonder Tree Sales: Only bought a couple so I did not get any of the 4 new ones for this farm (Sweetgum, Weeping Willow, Soapberry or Mangrove).

My other farm got 2 Mangroves and has all the Baha trees except Tiki and Soapberry. Don't have any of the new mainland trees yet.

 

I am so over this train and these tree events...its beyond frustrating...I dont need another persian silk....give us the trees we need to complete the challenge or dont bother.....I am not even purchasing the tree pack...first time ever...why to get the same BS trees again and again...no thanks...I am a long time player, like many of u, this is getting to the point where i may leave and go find a village to build instead.

 

i only need silver tree then i got them all. been getting tons of birch trees from train.

 

Transatlantic Express - very disappointed that there are no Jumbo Trees.

 

I love the San Gigantica Express, because we can not only trade old pens we don't want/need, we can use CCs to buy pens to donate. Which is perfect for younger farms that may not have the pens to trade, but can make the CCs to get pens to throw on. I am enjoying the Transeedlantic Express because I had enough throw aways on my main farm that I could afford to participate. However, I think it would be nice to be able to throw Baha trees under...err...on the train as well. I also wish there was a way to be able to buy with CCs trees to donate, so smaller farms can participate. That being said, overall, I like the event.

 

trading pens is good...but this one u can only trade the trees...maybe an assortment...anyway not lucky in love or trees

 

regarding the seedlantic express, I had one disappointing Gold seedling and how now given up because it seems a requirement donate too much. The values of the trees in my inventory range up to 250 exchange value and then jump to 340 and from 340 up to 520. I spent far too long trying to jig around donating trees I have to make an exact amount for a silver or gold seedling that I just gave up. You need to give more slots or, preferably, more varied values for the trees we wish to donate, e.g. something between 340 and 520!

 

I love the Tree Train and have had great luck with it. HOWEVER - the previous posts are correct that at least the lowest amount SHOULD be achievable with trees that can be purchased with CCs. It's ok to have higher odds if you put in the rares and upgrades - but there should be an option for ALL players to play this. I also agree that there ought to be an explanation of the odds with each variety - with the pens, there was always a list "high likelihood, excellent chance, low likelihood" that sort of thing.

I also enjoyed the recyclomat this time, because I knew I'd get farm coins! And I got lots of them, so I could open the newest piece of the waterfall. In the past, I haven't liked it as much because there was too much left to chance.

I would like to second the above post that mentions appreciating the variety of events that are available for us to do. I am enjoying the greater frequency of mini events. I would still like to see a little breather between main events of the grow and throw variety, but in general, I feel that the game has become more fun in the past year or so, with more trees and pens available as prizes, and more quests to give long term players something to strive for. Still my favorite game, six years later!

 

Has anyone gotten the silver tree in the train? i cant get even one.

 

I love the Farm Express. Will you please consider an event (short term once a year or every couple of years) where you have a Special Farm Express for Spring Cleaning where we can get rid of all our excess inventory. Unlimited spaces on the train or Grand Central Station where one train leaves and another immediately arrives and having the donated excess carry over to the next train load.

In order to make it work you could ban buying trees during the event.

I sometimes give away yellow stables/workshops and xl trees also sell a couple during G&T but still have some in inventory. It would be nice if they could be of some benefit. I sometimes use the ones valued at 40 and 50 but there always are the small ones (less than 40) and some odd ones that don't add up to the desired amount or come close (hate to waste any excess).

If not an option just want to say that I still like the train events.

 

I really like the train event. I got rid of a lot of XL trees and got lots of new trees and XXL trees.

I got Almond, Eucalyptus, Kumquat, Redwood 4 x Sandalwood 2 x Acacia 2 x Red Anjou 2 x Persian Silk 3 x Almond 2 x Tiki tree 2 Yew Tree 2 x Plumeria 2 x Nutmeg 3 x Durian 2 x Silver leaf Jujube tree 3 x Bladdernut


It would have been good to exchange Baha trees too.

 

I welcomed all the trees in my orchard, but the sandalwood XXl was the star of the event for me !

 

The King of the Jungle Quest rewards a Silver Leaf on the last step. I have 3 farms and two didn't get any but the other received 2 from the train trades.

 

The train was as always fun, but I really wish you could have a feature were I got rid of the trees I really want to get rid of (typical low value xl trees) maybe I could trade up? 6 rubbish for 1 decent, which I then could use in the last trade to gain a new/goodie one

I like the fact the farm coin breeding event is at the same time as a baby boom day. And there's no breeding event to consider as well

 

Regarding the Farm coin Palooza days currently running....I filled the breeding hotel to the max. That is 132. Out of 132, my coin count went up 56. NOT very impressive BP. That isn't even 50% oddsThis game is getting less and less appealing.

 

Every breeding deserves a farm coin!
We spend 2 PF for each isn't that enough?
