Feedback Mini Events: October 2016

Howdy Farmers,

Please post your constructive comments, positive and negative, regarding the mini events going on in October 2016, in this Feedback thread.

This new mini event has me glad we don't have smell-a-vision!!!!

 

I've heard that durian fruit has an unpleasant smell, but wisterias on the other hand have a wonderful scent!

 

The more new trees and stalls, the less exciting I find them. I have almost stopped buying any wonder stables. And now I only buy wonder trees every second time they are offered...

 

Umm, less is more they say. But not in a game. I joined this game and was overwhelmed by the activeness on both sides, the players and the behind making.
I got the great feeling to join in, strive to get it done and be part of the new and how it works into my farm I built by both what offers my farm gets and the players as we share what works and what has us stumped.

Now? we get news "the players" complained about the new frame so out it went, for me, I never got to see it only knew about it as I got told "the players" vetoed it. Guess that makes me not a player, here I would like to know what "players" get the vote, that way I can go hang out there since them "players" get listened to.

As for the new things being offered, more trees. I stopped buying the packs last tree offer and have no plans to up anymore money yep that green stuff that behind the game loves so much, anytime soon.

The forum people, the farmers that are slowly leaving the game are what made this game for me, I am seeing less and less of the talks, and the fun each event brought.
I once played to the best I could, meaning I gave to what I enjoyed, learned the best way to strive so when I came on line I had the farm making CC right down to the last 30min. of an event.

Now? I have no issue giving money to a good street performer as I go passed, and I had no issue buying pixel trees and things in a farm I found enjoyment in, I play different now, in a I got a farm I will keep going way, no enjoyment to seek.

I stepped away from photoshop because it was just way to time killing, you can lose days making things there, I am going back to playing with that, as for enjoyment I would rather give my money to a pixel brush than a pixel tree that I have no room to plant.
It's sad it's seems like you behind the game people just gave up. It ok, as I have a pack of glass effects to go ogle.

bought a 30 pack of wonder trees and 30 baha wonder trees and did not get a single new tree from either pack and very little variety in what I did get. come on bigpoint if you want us to keep forking out for these packs you have to give us better odds! this is ridiculous.

 

You make many good points, Mingling, and this is my favourite.

 

I also purchased the 30 pack of wonder trees and 30 pack of baha wonder trees, as Pumpkin did, and I can say that my results were not outstanding either, but I am still somewhat satisfied. The only new trees, Wisteria and Durian that I got were the guaranteed ones with the purchase which leads me to believe that these may be intended to be very rare trees. So I am grateful that I decided to purchase them this time, as they may be almost impossible to get in the future, but this is just my own speculation. Also to mention, I very rarely purchase these tree packs, and have never purchased both at once, I was excited to see the results, whatever they could be.

With some good results I was lucky enough to get big numbers of trees that I did not have, such as 4 red Anjou for the mainland, 5 cashew but only 1 ponytail palm for baha land. And grateful to also get 5 chequer, 1 bougainvillea, 2 XXL loquat, 2 XXL sorb, 1 XXL blackthorn and assorted XL and XXL for mainland. Extras for baha included 2 XXL moringa, 4 XXL achacha, 2 rollinia, 3 XXL grapefruit and XXL mangosteen. I was able to fit all of these on my lands, but also speculate that having so many extras could open up good possibilities when gift and trade again comes around.

The main reason for my response and post here is that I think it is a little mysterious and probably somewhat intentional that my packages did not produce more of the new Wisteria or Durian trees, seriously out of 30 tries? Leaves my wondering why, but it was good to see that I was not the only player this happened to, sorry for Pumpkin also .

As for my feedback, I'm somewhat glad I purchased the wonder trees, it was fun, amusing...and a mysteriously good time.

 

Pumpkin333 and Sabelyna....Sorry to Hear did not get any Wisteria or Durian.

But The Bundles that includes a New Tree with 30 Tree Seeding. Has More Randomness of Getting Rare Trees or XXL Trees or XL Trees. It means more Risk of not getting the Trees, you Hoping to get.

I Brought 15 Hokkaido Wonder Tree Bundle for 110 BB. I did get 2 x Durian Trees, 1 Ponytail Palm, XXL Langsat, XXL Grapefruit, 3 x XXL Mangosteen Tree, Cashew Tree and XXL Achacha Tree

I do not buy These Bundles very often. But Since they intoduce the 15 Better Odd Bundle you do get better odds. I Manage to win two Durian Trees this Way.

 

Trees are like a lot of players they come and go .
why keeping to introduce new trees and take them out half a year or a year later
Make all whe have usefull in Events in Quests and in Crafting Trade Recepies and also make these recepies worth something
Now i use maybe 5 till 12 recepies only because the rest is not even worth to produce them
I do have all my Artisans in level 5 but for what ?
They alchemist is in my opion a complete waist i never use anything a all

But it also cut be the way i play and its my own fault my Coop is almost empty one more week and iam back to 1quest left

 

Dutchboy When New Trees are Introduced as also an new XL and XXL Tree Too. Is also introduced too

Reason to Remove Older Trees Because if you do not remove older Trees from Tree Seeding Random Picking, it would make much harder to win a Newer Tree and increase chances to win older Trees. This is Reason to have Fair Balance of Randomness of Winning a New Tree.

Anyone who missed out older trees they get them from Barter and Gift Event.

I am at Level 5 on all artisan crafts i am not complaining soft crafts are worth making other are not worth making just stick to the ones that help your farm it that simple ok

 

Mooboy thanks i did not now this but it explains some things about the trees .
To bring all artisan to level 5 did cost a lot of time and input but once youre there its a dead end some products are worth making 90% is not for me .
For multiple reasons as you know youre self
I think that couldt be improved .
For the rest i believe everyone should play the game the way like i do and have my joy every day
And most off all i like to be triggerd and challenged

 

Please please please don't take away Howie Donut from the Renzo's prizes........

 

The sale events are coming a bit thick. It's always a sale, so the sale price is the new normal price. And I stopped paying attention to what mini is on from reading the forum. Renzo almost flew under the radar (which I think is a bit boring as well)

A more forum related annoyance, if I click on the mini event post it pops up several posts earlier, Like the Babyboom from the 2nd last breeding event. Is this just me ?

 

Is is just me or have all the mini games gotten a LOT worse?
EDIT: It was apparently me, though I was apparently part of a big internet slowdown, so maybe not "just" me..lol

Still... to offer platypus as a prize???
Its just one more example of how the team's perception of value and the gamer's perceptions differ significantly... and that is definitely part of what is killing this game.

 

I used to love and wait for the Renzo.

Not anymore though. I had high expectations for the new prizes. And the new egg was the only thing worth buying.

Even with 1k spent on the egg, I'm still left with over 500 coins nothing to spend on.

I mean there is no chance I will buy the 10k TEP at this price, when a couple of smothies do the job.

Neither I'm going to buy the stars when I have over 1600 stars that have no use at all.

BP please offer better prizes for the loved event, snorkel will just not do it.

 

I like that you are trying new things with the cloud rows. Offering a random fullmoon crop is a nice idea.

 

It was very disappointing that there was no notice of the Mega EP 1/2 day on the 31st October. It came and went and there was no notification. Even tho it was only for a short time, we still should have been notified.
