Missing post from Gabfest/Game Spouse

    8) My last post in Game Spouse has gone missing....Please try to recover it. It contained pictures of waterfalls, a hike, a new 3-story hut w/lookout shelter on the roof, and other descriptive photos which I spent days and many work-hours compiling, and poetry as well. I cannot replace them, and there is no copy of the post or poetry.
    It was there yesterday, and had 2 likes.
    These are an important part of the story, and David needs to read it to carry forward his part of the story.
    Thank you for your efforts to restore this piece of creative work.

    The post was deleted as a double post and there were far too many pictures to merge them. You can post another thread after someone else, with a fewer photos at one time :p

    8) I did post a few pictures at a time...that's one of the reasons I had to double post. I had waited so long before posting for someone else to post, that I felt my entire draft was going to disappear. Therefore - in order to preserve all that work - I felt I had to do it...and possibly find a way to correct that later.
    I had spent a lot of time and work on that post. It really hurts bad to lose such hard-won creative expression for such a thing as posting it, when that seemed the only way to preserve it.

    This leaves a very bad taste, and begs the question...'Why bother'?!!

    How long are drafts allowed to stay as drafts before they are deleted???

    I believe a draft stays until it is posted or deleted.

    I'm sure you are not the only person to think that:p

    We don't make the rules, we just enforce them. If you have a problem with the way the forum is moderated by all means contact support.

    8)For normal things, I have no problem.
    But destroying someone's creative works - especially when it is part of an ongoing story involving more than one person, and affects the story - then I believe it is wrong. A creative work is, by nature, unique, and I cannot recreate what was destroyed.
    And No, I am not going to waste even more energy contacting support...I've wasted all I'm going to.
