MM & Jack's Back permanent quest

Well, Mir, if it was not their intention, it should be, it must be. Or it'll then be true that the path to hell is paved with (good) intentions.

As heidels said, even if TBs are having effect now -since a couple of hours ago-, they didn't for too many several hours. Extension does not make up for that loss. What it would is to credit an additional TB to our barns, at the very least, to all of us who had them running uselessly for hours. Many people must have lost 6:24 hours at least, if they had planted GM. I bet there are many of them. That's 65% of TB's effect time, plus the life time lost by those who struggled to figure out what was happening. Extension only makes up for those who, already aware of the problem, did not activate their TBs. It doesn't for all of those who did.

There's no excuse for having halfway intentions. They MUST go the full way and accordingly compensate us.

As I said, I don't know, I just wanted to make you aware of a possible explanation. I suggest you ask for a clarification.

For me, the three hours I lost on the TB makes no difference, since it will be running into the night as it is. It is of course different for players in different time zones. But I couldn't (without shame) ask for a TB, since I wasn't very much affected, the extension more than make up for the time I lost. Other who were more affected can of course complain

 

I've already demanded for the compensation due to all of us, Mir. (I was not questioning you, by the way; I was questioning BP's lack of an acceptable response and abundance of deceiving statements: in Tech Announcements it crystal clearly says what we should expect: "For the players who had eaten terror bouquets and/or crypt vases, they have been returned to inventory").

Where are them? I expect them to comply, at least, with what they announce. I'm asking for nothing more than that. Translation problems from German are not an acceptable excuse. They must comply with what they announced. They've failed to so far.

It's not a matter of shame or not: we are not their slaves.

 

Didn't realize there had been an issue with the TB. I just thought it was my cache that was playing up again (surely I can't be the only one that goes there to have a clean only when things are SERIOUSLY wrong). Put Glow mold out with water and SG as I had planned, logged out and did a CClean. Logged back in a couple of hours later and problem was solved. Never underestimate the power of a CClean as they say. May the force be with all of you for this MM!

I don't know if BP had give me back 1 TB or not. Cause I had not count it before I eat.
But I stand with Aluntino. The Bug affect me much. My time zone is +7 HR CET.
The starting of MM is 22:00 at my time. I expect a TB working for potion plant which
let me could go to bed at not later than 1:00. But it's not, so I had to check what's
happening. thinking if it's still not work next day, do I need to woke up much earlier
for planting. Thus I must keep a eye on this matter, hanging on line to check the forum.
over 0:00, my brain is very tired. I must read some fiction to keep me awake.But the
side effiect is: I forget the time & harvest my potion 15 min later.
then checking the forum if the bug fixed. Replant glow mold. settle down everything.
Last night I go to bed at 2:00 am Who give me back the sleep. Yes, is' just a game.
none ask you to take it seriouly. But at least. give me back a TB is a MUST!

 

I didn't get compensated on any of my farms. I didn't notice until I went to harvest and nothing was ready (the problem of the morning rush). This was from work during my break and had to wait until lunch break to finally be able to harvest. A real pain.

 

My TB was not returned to either of my farms i know this because i only had 1 on each farm.

 

Sorry to hear you all had problems with your buffs. Understand how annoying that must have been. Hope you all get your buffs back soon.

I had the other problem - couldn't harvest the MM crops with harvester or manually but, thankfully, only on this farm. Very frustrating as (a rare occasion) I went out last night (not working!) and had to leave my Dracula Orchids till I came back. So I lost one harvest but the five hours will compensate me for that and a little bit more.

I got my doggy/doggies (Cerberus) on this farm and will get it on the other one in a couple of hours. I hope to be able to get all the cloud items this time round and can concentrate on getting the cloud row next MM.

 

So Far The MoonLight Mania Has been Extended by 5 Hours.....But we have yet to be compensated with our use of Terror bouquet and Crypt Vase.....
I have Eaten Two Terror Bouquets to Cover the 24 Hour MM Event and Active Cloud Row that gives us 10% Quicker Growing time of spooky crops for 24 Hours. Big Point has never refunded any spend or Pending Buffs Before.....My Question is This....Once we Eaten The Terror Bouquet, only to find that Buff is not working......Do we cancel Terror Bouquet from Gold Slot, Sign out and reset the game....Sign Back in hoping Terror Bouquet is back in our Barn. what if Terror Bouquet is not back in our Barn.

But we need to use that Terror Bouquet, as the Buff Effect had been Fix....Then we only find it is not back in our Barn, only have to either make another one and eat it or have to buy Terror Bouquet from the market and eat it. Many of us will have to use 3 Terror Bouquets using it with Pinkie Pie Pie to cover the Extended 5 Hour MM Event.

I Make Terror Bouquet for MM Events....but it does require 100 Abominable Plants,100 Googly Eye Bush and 100 Bone Trees to make each Terror Bouquet, which can only be grown during MM....I have to Restock these Crops during MM Preventing me growing spooky crops needed to make Spooky EP Givers or Work on Spooky Quests. As I have Surplus Stocks of Wires it one of the florist crafts that i can make good use of.

CJAT/MIR85.....I have been writing down the spooky crops growing times, using the effects of Water, manure, Terror Bouquet and Reduce Spooky Crop Time Cloud combined But my Times is actually little bit less than your calculated times. I have doubled checked these times.

The way BigPoint can compensate us is giving us an Bonus Code, I Keep Checking my barn to See Terror Bouquet has been refunded, which is has not so Far !!!

 

With only 7 hours left till MM's end, no TB has been credited to my farm so far.

I yesterday reported the problem to Tech Support, literally quoting the crystal clear statement in yesterday's Tech Announcement regarding all those who had eaten TBs/CVs by the time of the issue had already had their buffs returned to their barns. I've got a response yesterday night, stating there must have been a problem with the script and that I should check today's OAs. Up to now, there are no announcements. So, I've just answered Tech Support's response. We'll see what happens.

I really do hope they don't hijack our trust in their own already given word on this subject for any longer.

I also noticed, like Ajjg did, that the growth time reduction the CR provides, when combined with a TB, yields a higher reduction than the one I previously calculated (and my calculations were exactly as yours). I haven't checked anything without a TB running, of course.

After observing the initial times-to-maturation of what I planted and trying several calculations, it seems the CR works by increasing in 10 full percentage points the effect TB has. That means that TB has an effect of 30% reduction instead of 20%, thus yielding resulting times lower than the ones both you and me had calculated.

If this understanding is correct -anyway, the times I observed don't lie.... LOL-, and using the same example I used in page 6 of this thread (when commenting on your table, also in page 6), the calculation should be as follows -but I haven't checked times with manure also added, at least as of now-:

Example: Glow mold --> 08:00 x 0,9 x 0,8 x (1-20%-10%) = 08:00 x 0,9 x 0,8 x 0,7 = 04:01:55 (instead of 04:08:50).
With just water, the effect is for sure as follows: Glow mold --> 08:00 x 0,8 x (1-20%-10%) = 08:00 x 0,8 x 0,7 = 04:28:48 (instead of 04:36:29).

Ouch! I feel for you. You have topped my silliness today. It should ask you if you want to buy! I mean, most other things have that "get out quick" clause but not MM. Don't know what to say to make you feel better Bhodo.

My no brainer: I was so excited that I would eventually get all of the cloud row items this time round and then could concentrate on the FSQ next time (and I have been itching to donate to it since the extended MM but held back) - then realised I had forgotten about the Spider Web so will still have to work towards that (on both farms) before I can start on that FSQ. And quite frankly, I have so much stuff on both parks on this farm, the items will just sit there collecting dust till I get them up in the clouds!

Now if BP could see their way to extending the MM just another day, Bhodo might get all his 1000 of each MM crop grown and I might get my cloud row items ... and ooh, I just saw a Pink Flying Pig!

Oh JJenks .....I feel for you I made that mistake on my other farm, But I Try my best not to make any mistakes here. My TB is due to run out in 2 Half Hours as The Cloud Row Effects of 10% had just finish it 24 Hours Activation Weather I use another TB in the last couple of hours or not !!! I am working really hard to get Clean for a Spell Quest Finished.

 

Okay, I think I have the numbers on the chart with the Jack's Back cloud row all sorted out. I replaced the chart on the first page with this one too. It's kinda nice... if you use the cloud row, a terror bouquet, water and manure... you cut the growing time exactly in half!

I was able to activate my cloud row yesterday evening, so I refigured and checked my times based on a glow mold without manure (4:28 ) and a moon dew with everything (3:00). I also re-did how I calculated the CR+W, (which is the same as plain water and manure without the cloud row). So I think I have all the times right now!

I am a little sad that the event is extended only 5 hours... I will get to use a little over two of the 5 "bonus hours" but then I have to leave for work... an extra full day would have been much better for me.

@JJenks ~ I did that yesterday morning... for a brief insane second I considered deleting my main field (like what you do when you plant corn or hay instead of an event crop) but I decided to apply super-grow instead. (Just as insane but for some strange reason, it made me feel better!) I have some extra super-grow... I would lend you some if I could!
