Event runs for 6 days
Moonlight playfields only

Grow event crops, gain drops, mill items, feed characters

Moonlight Field = Dracula Bats = Blood Orange Juice
Mushroom Forrest = Cat Fairies = Brain Broth

Option to feed 48 characters on each field.

For givers and CR:
40 Blood Orange Juice = 8800 Fangerine + 1000 Blood Tomato Sauce
40 Brain Broth = 5600 Brain Cactus + 1800 Kitty's Cauldron

Event crop grow times:
6:00 hrs
4:48 hrs with water applied
4:19 hrs with water and manure applied

Event drops from both playfields and from breeding (2 of a kind per breed)
Blood Tomato Sauce - from all items
Kitty's Cauldron - from all items (the FAQ has been corrected)

Toughest part seems to gain enough Kitty Cauldrons (300/day needed!)
Be prepared to maybe spend PF on breeding.

Sorta mixed on this one. Like the crates, but not the work.

I will keep smiling tho, while I wonder & ponder on what to do.

To me its a see how well the drops come especially the kitty cauldrons. the pink bat and crow pens are tempting though.

I think I can do this without changing my MM fields. We shall see how the Rats drop. I will be concentrating on this one so if any of my dear neighbours want to send me something, these drops are the ones I would prefer.

I don't know what to send everyone else but I will probably send MM drops by default (read, I don't have to think too hard!) to my neighbours, if any of you prefer something different, send me an IGM. Too many choices for gifts - think we may have mentioned this before!

I'll play this Event along with The Great Chase Event II as well,Why not?,OK it hasn't got the greatest CR on offer but I know I'll just get a load of goods along the way if I get the CR or not?,I started the Easter Egg Painting Event 30 odd hours after it started knowing fully well I wouldn't get the CR with such a late start,It ended leaving me needing to paint just 8 more eggs in the end to get the CR(i did better than i expected with that late start),OK so having all the Giver/Deco items for the CR and being so close was a bit annoying,Ah well I got a lot of EP playing,And a bunch of Star Coins to spend,So what did I lose?,That's how I see it anyways,Unless you're growing Crops for a MM Quest maybe or to buy something from Jack's Shop,Why Not?(that's an unnecessary true short story there and you're welcome ).

Oh and thanks again habalala for another good Strategy Thread.

 

I know it wont reduce the amount needed in habalala's superb strategy for us but every time you feed the cat fairies and bats you recieve 5 crops relating to that creature as well as a reward from the list

 

We get PINK Crow & Bat stalls !!!! Thanks for bringing it to the notice. I will try.

It's not just you, DBAYES - I'm coming up very short on cauldrons. I guess rat shortages are to be expected when two drops are coming from the same 2 fields.

 

Cauldrons are the issue for me also, started the event late, but will do my best because those pink stables are too tempting.

(psssssst ..... As an ooooold farmer noooooow, I see the continuous drop shortage as data collection. More direct: If your farm was asked to give 50,000 exchange value of say confectionery products or bakery products or floral products, what would your farm give?

Wow!! Anyone short on drops??

I just bred 12 snakes and got 18 cauldrons, 12 blood tomato sauce, 10 ash heaps, and 2 magnifying glasses! - all from the 12 snakes.

Now to go check the rest of my breedings....!

EDIT: O.K....checked the rest, and got tons of drops on all of them!
but not much on skips.

 

The Queen of Pinks is short on drops ?
And she don't know what to do ?
Simple M'dear... Breeding it's BBD !!!
Fill up the Breeding House a few times and you will have all the drops you need... and maybe a few Pinks

 

I think you get the opposite animals five crops. e.g. giving cat-fairies gives you bat crops. So, I figure that to maximize this, I will try and finish both around the same time. I am short of cauldrons anyway, like everyone else, so I plan to plant more fangerines next round to catch them up.

 

Ohkurrrr! I'm breeding mugslies for drops, did think I would have to use up my PF as well as everything else...going for broke!
