Because the game team is based in Europe, they naturally use the European designation for dates , with the day, then the month, then the Year. In the US, we do the opposite -- use the Month, then the day, then the year. That is, to take today ( June 12, 2016 ) as an example, in the Europe, it would be 12-6-2016, but in the US would be 6-12-2016. Many of us are aware of this, but not everyone. Even if we are aware, it can be confusing because we may not always be sure if the translator "corrected" the notation or not.

I would ask that you use the month as a word, rather than a number whenever possible, to avoid this confusion. (That is, If you said June/12/2016 or 12/June/2016, then there would be less confusion.)

    Thank you.

The moderators are obviously aware of this, since they announce dates in the manner you suggest. Why make a big deal of one slip up? :(

I made the suggestion because there really does not seem to be a set policy in this regard, the dates are displayed in a variety of ways. I am asking for a consistent policy. It is a suggestion for a change, not negative feedback. I am sorry if you understood it as negative feedback.

I am not sure why you feel it is a big deal or that I am making an attack. My suggestion is not intended that way at all. I often find myself misprinting when I am corresponding with people in Europe. Its an easy misunderstanding.
