Moonlight Buff Not Working

I have used Terror Bouquet and it is working on other crops but not on the event crops.
Is this by design or a malfunction?

 

I amm not a mod.....unfortunately the MM buffs don't work on event plants I believe someone brought that up in the strategy thread

 

007 yes they did, your beliefs are correct. I just left there from posting and then deleting the question after reading on I saw others talking about it. Just got done reading over the FAQs again and there is no mention about TB not working on the event crops and also looked over the baskets and there is TB included. All leaving me wondering if it was bu design or broken link or something? When I find out I will check in at the form to share what I have learned.

None of the crafting buffs will work on the Horror Vine as it is classified an "event" plant. As the Flying squirrel pet effects "event" plants, this is the only buff that will work. Unfortunately the bug that allowed the buffs to work on the last MM event have now been fixed.
Only buffs that can be used are ones that effect Super-grow etc.
Terror Bouquet was included in the basket, for normal MM planting, as there is an extended edition and not everybody will participate in the Event.

Hummm... I see. I'm somewhat new. Not a newbie but at the least, I'm just a Jr
I have read lots and lots of stuff but I never remember reading anywhere about buffs not working on MM event plants? Could you please guide me to this so that I can mark it. There is so much to do and learn here, sometimes I forget and need to read over things.
So the only buffs that work on MM Event Crops are: CAC, SG w/ WI or FC? Is that right? Is that all?

Dooope! that only makes good reason why there is TB in the baskets

 

Many time reduction buffs do not work on "event" crops. If a buff lists one of the categories, you can check in the Crop Category FAQ to see which group of crops the buff will workn on as shown here.

The only buffs that will work on event crops of any kind are Carrot-apple chutney and Pumpkin Jam. Other buffs that reduce Super-grow like White Innocence and Fruit Cake will work as they effect the fertilizer, not the crop.
The confusion has come from the fact that during the last MM event, the bug was allowing the terror bouquet was reducing the time , but as this was a bug as this should not have occurred and has been adjusted this event.
I will try to remember to add this point to any future MM Event FAQ's
