I'm torn between milling my first 50 Shadow Mulch to speed up my trees or to grow more Spider Ferns!

My timings are all over the place, don't know what to do next - but I did plant my 10 Gripping Grass seeds so that's a start isn't it Nellie? Remind me why we need the Cat Fairy Home ... oh yeah ... to extend the Mushroom Forest! :p

We also need 2,100 Gripping Grass for that level, Nellie so definitely a good move to get that going asap! ;)

I'm going round in circles on this spooky train, I'm getting dizzy! :wuerg:

Going to be a few bloopers with all that we have to remember, Phoenixboy. I just realised I forgot to put my Slime Pits back out! :(

I really love the new graphics. :inlove:

I have the gripping grass with the midnight oak on the new field. It's not much but it helps and I can have the MM field for the spider fern alone. Should help with better timing every thing that is growing also. I hope.

I can't see how to get the midnight oak trees under 13 hours. I've used both kinds of supergrow ? What else can be done ?

I had planned to do the same Dienstag but excitement got the better of me! Can't move those big trees now till tomorrow - I am working early and will not get any advantage from feeding them the shadow mulch today so I am having to be patient and grow as much Spider Fern as possible.:p

I am hoping to play catch up with tree harvests at the weekend - in the meantime I am going to grow, grow, grow! xD

Pferdepferde: You need to grow the Spider Fern and mill with the Spray Bottle to make the Shadow Mulch (10 Spider Fern and one Spray Bottle). This cuts the tree growing time by 90%. I believe you can use more than one Shadow Mulch on the trees but I haven't got far enough to test this theory. :p

illy I hope you are right about using more than one because just one only gets you to 13 hours

It should bring it down to 4 hours if you use a Shadow Mulch. Normal mulch will reduce the growing time by a further 35%. If your milled mulch is only reducing to 13 hours, there might be a problem.

In post #1 right above the tree it tells what to use to harvest midnight oaks in about 2 1/2 hrs.

They are Midnight Oak Fruits, Nellie. You can get them from the big old trees that you have to plant. :)

LOL Nellie! Might not have the same effect! You probably won't get a jackpot prize, just a small pile of poo and a fur ball! :music:

Pferdepferde: I'm curious what you put on your trees to get them to 13 hours ... will you share the secret? :p

oh my! I am so close to being able to purchase the kitteh-faireh stable in Jack's shop - just need a few more glowshrooms and the new crop...should have one by end of day! Haven't checked on the tree yet, and I see where we need that for kitteh-faireh noms. PF until I get that conquered.

Still thinking the recipes are a bust...anyone think otherwise? I'm just curious...

Ugh, planted my first 10 ferns on 1x1s. 3 hours late into the game this morning, half asleep, and new washer and dryer arriving at the door -- a groggy hurried planting. Ah, well...on the bright side, got a new washer and dryer! :)

That is a bright side!!! :p I would give up LOTS of spider ferns for a new washer and dryer! :music:
I agree with you dumbbunny, not worth the MM products needed to get or produce. :wuerg:

Well, hubby said it was surprise for me, but I think it was really for him. He just renovated the laundry room -- new flooring, drywall, painted, new sink. I think he didn't want to put the old crappy washer and dryer back into his new beautiful room. lol

Working hard on those ferns so I can make mulch -- my trees still say 20-something hours... -.-
