    Actually, no it doesn't. If it DID follow the full moon, then it would fall on weekends at times. As for getting in the way, they already double up and while I saw it as an issue, others have not, as long as they are not 2 crop-requiring events.

    Further, the biggest issue is just fairness for ALL, as opposed to meeting what is best for some, or even a majority. Having a Moonlight mania even 1-2 times a year is not a huge sacrifice. That would still leave most of the manias off of a weekend. Some people really cannot hit the non-weekend days and others prefer a non-weekend. For the few who will be truly inconvenienced... there is the vast majority of manias for them. A couple of MM for those who need weekend times doesn't seem at all unreasonable.
