First error made! Wasn't concentrating and planted my first seeds on 1x1s! Only going to get 60 seeds back in place of the usual 90!

Have completed the left side bar but stopped by lack on bone trees for the right side bar!

LOL Sanddollar! I have made lots of notes for myself over the past couple of weeks to stop me making stupid blunders but stopped doing it ... thought I could cope with three events at the same time! WRONG!

No worries, not really sure which one I want to concentrate on so will just wing it!

 

I bit the bullet and dumped a whole lot of sheep's wool into an FSQ and got 9 eerie wonder trees out of it. Hopefully I will get some of the ones I need once they mature. In the meantime I finally had enough gripping grass to get a cat fairy pen only to then remember I hadn't made any feed yet. Guess I really should have made a checklist.

I don't know what to gift wrenches or obsidian? Too much for me to handle without a heck of a lot more coffee or chocolate.

I tried the old trick of posting some manure on the market for a truly outrageous price in the hopes I could cancel and use it later. I guess no price is truly outrageous as it was over 1650cc and it still sold. Crazy, crazy times. Now if I can only figure out how to turn off the flying bats.

I don't know if it helps, LDCrow, but I will be gifting obsidian unless my neighbors let me know otherwise. First....we have 3 fields for wrench collecting vs one (and little more depending on how much of the Mushroom Forest you have open). Second, drop rate for wrenches has been good on my farms. I have drops waiting on crops which is not usual. Finally, I want to hurry and finish the Tycoon event so I can go back to working on regular MM stuff.

Right? Wrong? I don't know anymore but it is my plan

To turn off the bats, open your Tycoon event window and you should see on the bottom right corner a bat with a box that is checked. Uncheck it and the bats will disappear from your farm. Just check it again when (if) you want them to return.

 

Pnp, thank you so much! That logic works for me on the gifting and the bats were driving me batty.

 

How's everyone doing so far?
I managed to open another area of Mushroom Forest, so I'm going to pause on that quest till next month's MM comes around. Right now I'm working on crops for right side of the event bar. I already completed the left side bar as well as the 1st step on right side bar, so now just growing all items needed, in the order they're needed to complete each step, on 1x1s, using what little CAC I have left (yikes!). After right side bar is complete I will then focus on the main bar, grow poison ivy during the days (again on 1x1s with CAC) & then duskshadow bloom overnight each night in hopes of a good drop rate. Then when I (hopefully) finish the event, I'll concentrate on growing lots of jelly ear fungus & killer tomatoes to make the jelly ear kebabs to feed the bats as many times as I can before MM ends.

*edit ~ to add: forgot to mention I'm also using up my TBs on crops for shorter growing times (not on event crops of course), it helps!

 

I'm still trying to open all of the Mushroom Forest so I will skip the right sidebar (crops required). If I have time after completing the left side and main side bars then I might attempt it but only if I have been able to open more areas.

 

That works great for me pnp!!! I have gone as far as I want to on the pipe event!!
So please neighbors....I need obsidian!!! I feel the Moonlight Companion Event...is just an extra bonus...not a necessity. I will focus on the main Moonlight Shop event 1st!!!!

I have gifted obsidian. Unless told otherwise, and I remember, I am going to gift that. Many of my neighbors like me haven't opened up Mushroom Forest so drops are scanty. Then again it would have helped to have something other than Doll's Eye growing when I went in.

 

RL hit and this event caught me off guard. I did manage to plant some poison ivy at lunch. Thanks for the info and the thread everyone! It helped for this poor caught off guard chick!

Just finished the left side. The right side is going to require some more crop growing.

I was going to try to open more mushroom forest but it's looking like that is going to be a long term goal. Anyway I slice it I have to have a large amount of tree fruit or animals or both. So I think I'm just going to plant trees on what little space I have open and then use my main field for the event. I'm growing the Jelly ear right now mostly just to stock it. Looks like I'm going to be starting from behind with the poison ivy but I'll see what I can do.

 

I needed to grow crops for the right side, didn't have enough to leave a comfortable cushion if I donated them. I got a +200% for 12 hrs. on the wheel today. Unless I finish soon, I will probably do poison ivy tomorrow. I think.

Edit: I was able to finish, the +200% makes it easier. With nuking the poison ivy I get 19 per 2x2.

 

my left and right side is done.. in the middle now working on getting the farm coins... soon as i finish this will start feeding bats...

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your efforts!

My wife has been keeping up with all of the events. So I let the fact that she has finished the last one (Frap ole or someting) guide me in my gift giving. I'm passing out Obsidian!


I've taken the same tack as many of you, in that I continue to work on getting the new mushroom areas open. Making good progress too. The next section needs Slime Monsters. I've been stuck with only 3 Slime Monster stables. In the Mushroom II FSQ you can get two more stables. I've been growing the crops for them, so finished them off first thing. 5 stables make a big difference.


I've finished the bottom, left side and am growing the crops for the right side. Nearly done with that effort. Next twill be to grow the event crop and tackle the upper portion. When finished with the event I'll follow Mooboys lead and start growing those ear thingies for the bats!

Aw yes, the "note" thing....then I have to search for the correct notes I did both sides and gotta say "OUCH" really really need to get more fields open Before long we might need a 3rd field

 

Left side finished. I'm now multi-tasking by growing crops for both the task and to open the remaining parts of the mushroom field. Event crops I should be okay on thank to my massive blunder of supergrowing an entire field of 1x1s . I blame the cold weather!

 

Mid way on the top - will handle the bat feed fungus after I finish with the poison ivy. One day the mushroom forest will be complete - but not for awhile it seems.
