Moonlight Shop Tycoon Strategy

Wow that is quick mindy1701. I have been too busy sorting out my partner 50th Birthday tom, so wont have much internet access again tomorrow. I am on last step on left side. As i got plenty of remaining spooky stock to do the right side.

Just need couple more rounds of Poision Ivy. Then is back to working on Spooky Quest. I did get a 10 Nightgleam Trees and Ember Beech Tree.

There is no point putting out Grave Candles Trees during MM Events as each tree takes 350 Hours to grow, using Super Mulch wont be able to help you reap Grave Candles during MM events. It so daft to give it 350 Hours huh So i opted for Ember Beech Tree instead I am going to out out all trees from tomorrow that sure help loads of reaping Obsidions

 

I decided to go for finishing a few FSQs prior to event crop growing. By now I own an Eerie Arbetorum (aiming to get the 2nd as well) and have opened all the space in Mushroom Forrest! While growing stuffs needed for the sidebars -yeah those FSQ take a lot- I planted and nuked 10 4x4 fields with Poison Ivy and kept doing so. By the time I had the sidebars filled I had enough event crop to get started on a whole field and was super lucky to hit the 12hr 200% bonus at that time as well. In about two hours I'll be able to finish the main event as the obsidian drop rate is quite good too.
One more goodie; I got the new Ember Beech on my first (and only) try!

In other words: I'm having luck and fun, make good progress and will have plenty of MM time left to replenish (uh.. equals do more MM FSQ or will spoil some hungry bats).

Go farmers go!

 

Just waiting on 50 more obsidian, then I can donate them and the last 1080 poison ivy and I'm done. (My other farm finished as of this AM... won 24 hrs of the 200% harvest bonus over there yesterday).
Been using PF to grow the silly 200 cat fairies for the last task to open the last Mushroom Forest zone on this farm. Not sure if I will work on the Eerie Arboretum FSQ or not... need 75 more slime monsters and then a bazillion more cat fairies . Just need a couple fields of crops on my other farm to get the first Arboretum over there. But... do I really need the Arboretums?

I don't think I'll bother feeding any bats on this farm, but I will grow a bunch of the jelly ear fungus for the barn.
I did however feed 50 bats on my other farm... the milling time is ridiculous, and IMO.. the prizes are seriously lacking in the "yay" department . Here's the results from all 50 bats:

Hey PeepsCA, i was thinking the same as you asking if worth a steep amount of Spooky Stock for Eerie Arboretum as it takes up an 2 x 2 Moonlight Field for each one, which we can plant 4 spooky trees. The Arboretum only benefit 3 x 2 Moonlight Field or 6 x 1 x 1

It would make more sense to use spooky crops to unlock the All of Mushroom Forest First. If All of it is unlocked, which Habalala has done. The next best thing would be to unlock an Eerie Arboretum. For me i would use my spooky stocks to build an Slime Monster Pit or Cat Fairy Home from Jacks Shop

I have stop using Spooky Crops to Make Spooky Trees from Jack Shop as we can gain spooky tress from Tree a Spree Event and Eerie Wonder Tree Seedings

I had a feeling Feeding Bats with Jelly Ear Kebabs, will give poor returns as it cost 38 Jelly Ear Fungas each as most of these prizes can be won using Spooky Crates prizes from Cloud Rows. I will have at least 20 goes at it that is all. The down side to this you have to restock your Jelly Ear Kebabs, as they are bound to be ask for in new Quest, Jacks Shop or next MM Event

 

Forgot to add the only reason I splurged and fed 50 bats on my other farm... was cuz I grew a bunch of the jelly ear fungus while I had the 200% harvest bonus and could bust out a bunch (on both MM fields) with my Jack's Back CR running and a Terror Bouquet speeding them up, lol . I'm hoarding every single jelly ear fungus I grow over here on this farm tho!

 

I wasn't going to do this event except for a few bats and but first I wanted the trees so I donated to get them. Then I just sort of donated around to get some of the other prizes and before you knew it I was almost done just had to grow some more poison ivy.

For all the gnashing of teeth about being overloaded with events this turned out to be fairly easy. I've fed bats and got lots of goodies and still have time to grow towards the mushroom forest and replenish my stock. I should be able to get a couple more stables to set up before the event ends as well. I hope everyone else is doing as well and having fun it with.

 

Finished the Moonlight Shop (really cute givers), not doing the bat feeding. Now to work on Mushroom Forest and a few other FSQs.

I am so glad I am not the only one who has to work on opening more fields We need more than 1 day a month to really make any progress Need about 120 drops and I can finish the event as I already have my crops grown. Now I need to do some serious restocking Tried the Pick a Tree and got the new Ember(?) and one of those Cactus trees. WHAT is up with the time for those?? And what Golden Gift does it give? I tried searching in the FAQ's and can't seem to find anything about the Eerie trees. Maybe I am looking at the wrong section. Still haven't decided about the Bats bc sometimes it seems like I just win ep/tp/cc's Also won a XXL Tentacle Been waiting for those to make an appearance

I just now got grave candle cactus tree. Was very happy to get a new rare tree. Then I saw it had 350 hrs to harvest. Waited it for to change. No. Then refreshed the game. No it still showed 350 hrs. Then I remembered someone posting in help section 'grave candle cactus'. Went and saw it was julie. Seems 350 hrs is the correct time. Harvest once a month. Became

 

LOL OneTwo... I waste a TM on mine each time, there's a teeny bit less sicker shock if I happen to mouse over it and see the grow time remaining lol while MM is going on . SSG too... so I get 6 fruits a month, woohoo lol

 

I did the same PeepsCA. Put TM & SSG. Waste of a Turbo Mulch. Then it struck to me that MM Event is once a month. No use in using TM.

 

Still makes me feel better lol, plus I've found that with a TM on it the farm machinery does not delete the tree if I zombie farm in the middle of the night and use the delete all option to change field plots or take down a field of all pens and trees

 

I too do the same for the same reason during the events .

 

Wife and I have both finished the MM event.

She saw I'm working on opening up plots in the Mushroom forest and got busy on that too. I've had some good progress there. In addition to the two Slime Monster stables I gained right at the start of the event, I've managed to open three new zones! Only two to go.

 

I finished Moonlight tycoon event, fed 18 bats and opened 1 more plot on Mushroom forest! I am now just happily replacing what I need too and growing Jelly Ear fungus, in case we need them in the future!

I've fed a few bats on both farms (well, once I figured out how to get the little suckers - pun may be intended - to show up on the fields). Sewinglady's farm is done with the event - but on that farm I have all but one of the the Mushroom forest field sections open. Over on this farm, I am slogging away - trying to gather tree fruit and critters plus crops to open more MF and finish the event and grow the ear fungus to feed more bats. Lots to do, not a lot of room or time to do it. Phooey. I think I have the last field of the event crop in...maybe. Not going to hold my breath.

 

Well I have a new favorite stable! That cat fairy is the cutest dang thing ever.

I've made some advancements towards opening more mushroom forest but it's not going to happen this go round no matter how much TM I toss at my trees. So I went ahead and did the event, I've still got the last 3 slots to fill but I got all the stuff from left and right and several givers so I'm not worried about finishing. I've fed about 40 bats so far and mostly I've received crops from them.

 

Mushroom forest almost open - 5/6 areas, so no furiously growing something (venus fly trap I think) to try and open the 6th but don't think it will be this time. The only reason I got this far was thanks to 100% harvest and +1 crops that I won on the party wheel and the fact that I ignored the bats. Just 40 drops to go and I'll be done with MM event too. Not too shabby; love having MM available all weekend.
