This comes from a suggestion put in the feedback thread. The person pointed out that it might be nice to have a little more information about each country along with the events. I thought it was a good suggestion, so am posting it here.

We don't need anything too technical, but a few cultural details would be fun. Having the event prize as a flag is definitely fun, but what about making a story that takes something of the country history or special features into account.

For example, since you have to create new event crops, make it something that represents the country. Instead of a sticker (or in addition), maybe offer a real life recipe for a representative dish from the country? Maybe something featuring a national figure/hero/mythological person/creature. For example, off hand, the alps would be a given for Switzerland, wine for France... Haggis for Scotland... most of us know those, but might not know about other countries.

To make it authentic, easier on you, You could even do something fun like asking the players from the country for suggestions and have a short vote of those forum participants. That way you know it really is representative. (and maybe offer a small themed prize to the participants... a sticker would be appropriate there, or a few extra of the event drop items would be appropriate, too.) In cases where no one or just a very few people play, then you could leave it up to the "masses" (but then, you probably want to highlight participant countries?) or just make your own decisions (but please do at least a little research...assign it to the kids of mods and programmers as a project if you need.. lol.. won't hurt them!)
