Moving Items on a Tablet...

    I tried to move an item but I couldn't either. It is better to delete it and place it where you want(if you have harvested it earlier).

    What about a tablet that has a keyboard? I have heard of attachable ones too.

    We use a Logitech keyboard with a Windows Surface. It's wireless (uses usb) and has a laptop style touchpad. Works great!
    Tried to farm by tapping initially - disaster!

    I tried to move a item by clicking M but I still need to hold it and there is no way for it.

    Hi Bhodho!
    I don't have a tablet, but I have a few ideas that might help... {{crosses fingers}} ;)

    1) Plug a mouse (if possible) into your tablet. Also, like snobunny333 above suggested with the keyboard, there are wireless mice that might work too.

    2) Check to see if your tablet has an "On-Screen Keyboard" pre-installed option that would allow you to type the moving commands solotime listed without needing to plug anything in. (Since others are having problems, this might possibly work in combo with the mouse option).

    3) I know Farmerama has an "alternate build mode" but I don't remember much about it other than reading a post a loong time ago about it having something to do with dragging items around. (?)

    4) Check into the Puffin browser (they have both apple and droid options). I have puffin on my smartphone, and remember reading about three different modes I could put it into. (Something like regular, keyboard and mouse). While I have never tried to move anything around, I researched it a bit into the tablet browsers, and they both have a "virtual touchpad" built in that might help. I know kmellish mentioned in a thread about using Puffin and loving it in an iPad. Also I know pepsishot mentioned using it, but I think it was Puffin on her smartphone. Maybe try igming kmellish and seeing if (s)he has been able to move things on Puffin before?

    So a few more ideas for ya anyway! I wish I could say for certain that one would work, but it's all just hopeful guesses and crossed fingers for ya at this point! Good luck!
