Mssing item

Good evening Mods I hope you are all well I would like to ask for your help in locating the 'Somethin' Fishy' event gift I am certain that I donated the requirements to achieve the item but sadly I cannot fill my cloud row as it is showing as 'Item not in inventory' I believe that I had kept track of what donations to give for the event and I made enough of the detective tools to allow for completion (my mill showed zero balance).
When I logged on this evening I had the pop-up window which showed what I had gain with the excess event items to find that any possible 'left-over' detective tools were not listed, this was expected due to my belief of a full donation . Thank you in advance for your time, it is much appreciated.

Both your mill logs and your event donation logs were reviewed and I am sorry, but you did not donate any detective tools to receive Something's fishy. You milled 80 detective tools and donated them to receive the cloud row and the givers Stop Cheese Thief, Dial C for Cheese and Whodunit.

Since you milled 80 detective tools and donated 80 detective tools, you would not have any excess event items.
