Mystery Stables, did you get a Wolf?

I didn't want to take the chance for one.

Plus, animal pens aren't my way of playing this game

I like trees.

No wolf for me - foxes and moles seem to be landing on my farm, so will make some cc's.
However, I did get a PINK HORSE

I always wonder what's the best approach for these Mystery things.

I think (I'm not sure if I'm right), that, whenever a new stable is introduced, chances of getting it increases by buying smaller batches (4-7) at different times. And, when a new tree is introduced, on the contrary, they increase with larger batches (20-25). Of course, I keep forgetting my own "findings" and yesterday bought 25 Mystery Stables in one single batch..... LOL.

(I haven't "planted" any of them yet: I'll do it later, so that they get hit by 200% EP bonus of MegaEP day; I'll also plant some 7 Mystery Stables of two kinds -8hr and 5 hr- and 2 Baha + 5 Farm seedlings from past events, I don't recall which ones, plus a leftover of 10 Baha seedlings. I hope all of this gets good results. But I tend to think they won't.....).

 

I have a question..... from all of you smart farmers. What happens when an animal pen is illiminated from possibilities of mystery stables??? Is it still available to buy in store?....on the prize wheel?

I'm wondering....say a player joins the game now....how will he/she gets trees, animals that are no longer available from mystery events....especially the "rare" ones???

 

I wonder that too, Brooke. For instance, I wasn't around when Dogs were, and I wouldn't mind one or two but I don't think I've had an opportunity to get one yet. They have never been in the list of stables available during the stable events....it made me wonder how someone starting now - today - with none of these, would ever have a hope of getting what they need?

Use of market would seem the only way. I was trying to figure out how exactly BP would benefit from that...players using BBs to finish events and FSQ? Offering them later for BB in the shop or re-introducing them for a few limited appearances in future Mystery Stables?

Best bet at this time is a G&T event.

 

heidals - my point exactly!!! Does BP realize they have too many types of animals??? Will those animals possibly be taken out of the game at a later date???
It seems a bit off-putting to expect new players to always have to purchase "rare" discontinued animals in the market.

 

It would seem to some *cough*cough* that BP is not always above being off-putting. I guess then, having them only at G&T would encourage more purchase of trade licenses...although I'm not sure people would be more inclined to do that than just buy the stables out right. Maybe!

Edit: So sorry to stray from the topic at hand. How ridiculous of me to forget. I don't have any results to report because I am currently waiting for the 6 I bought to be ready. That is all I am picking up this round, regardless of spectacular or not-so-spectacular results. Good luck to all.

 

Some rare pens are now included in the store for purchase (butterfly, kangaroo, squirrel) and I have also seen them on the farmwheel. However, other rare pens, like the glowworm, can only be gotten from G/T. The mole replaced ??? in Renzo's fair. Some do come around as event prizes (disguise shop).

I did get a wolf...my dilemma is to either sell some stock to make some nice CC for my farm or hold onto it since BP has been changing up events and requirements. Many of the rare animals now asked for in the latest quests I bought at reasonable prices in the market over a period of weeks/months and find myself reluctant to let some go especially since we just had a large requirement for animals and the Dev's Newsletter hinted that we would continue to have such events/requirements in the future (December).

 

I got a raccoon, wolf and dovecote!

But still no hamster! Boo!

PNP - I've decided I shall sell the pots (preferably still dirty ) and buy my wolves.
I do have a weakness for Pink, but the Queens still hold their titles I'll settle for Queen for the Reds

Sell. That's what I'm doing with all those rare animals they are asking for in the new quest that I have in excess of 60 -all of them, except roosters and, of course, wolves-.
