neighbors/friends

I sent RoyalPython and Irene2105 a neighbors request and i tried to add them to my friends list on both of my farms and it wont let me add them as friends and I saw that RoyalPython was on but hasn't responded to my neighbor request I'm not sure if he realizes he has to accept my request ive written to him with no response to that either any way my question is why wont it let me add them? ive recently added others with no problem

What exactly happens that prevents you from adding the players to your neighbour list? What error message do you encounter?

well RoyalPython did add me and wrote back but when I hit the check mark by their names the add as friend button stays greyed out ive tried everything I don't know whats going on I went through my list to make sure I didn't have any other ppl marked and I didn't see any could it be because they are so low a level? also RoyalPython seems to be on playing but his thermometer is still flashing red ?

Your friend list is different than the neighbours list - you were unable to add the player as a friend because he was already your friend, this action was successful the first time, but in order to invite someone as a neighbour, you have to use the neighbours bar in the right side of the game frame.

Once you invite/add someone as a neighbour, they will automatically be added to your friend list as well, so the option of adding them to your friend list will be disabled immediately, because they are already on the list.
