Well, had to buy more PF. I finally finished the event, and have the cloud row. I used 2572 feed and a boat load of animals which is ridiculous. I do appreciate the fact I am getting double the animals from pens in my fields as I would have run out of animals long ago. Started with just under 2k of each and still have over 1k of each in the barn. I have 1 field of bear pens, 1 field of cats and 1 field of mice still cranking.

I don't think I ever want to do any breeding again. Not for a quest or an event. The skips were so rare and then only to level 3 or 4, never any higher. When breeding at level 2 or higher, I almost always just got the twin or base animals and almost never got the skip of 1 level. I used to enjoy breeding and the excitement of BB day when skips would go to level 5 or 6 regularly and sometimes to 7 or 8 occasionally. I haven't seen those skips in several years now. I used to like the number of skips that I got the way it was long ago, as now, there just aren't enough skips there to make it worthwhile.

 

Finished this one on spots Friday, and just barely finished on bearbabe with literally about 3 minutes left of BBD. The mouse requirements were killer, for some reason, on both farms. I ended up spending over 50 million CCs to buy enough colored mice to be able to finish breeding what I needed for bear, and still had to use over 700 PF . Couldn't take advantage of high market prices to sell animals, either, as been plagued with connection issues all weekend, and little time to make listings anyway, so will have to hope I can make some CCs next month with breeding then. I decided to get proactive here on spots, went and bought some higher level pandas and peacocks in preparation for June. Mini me came out alright, tho. I had hoped to participate and get the neons, but requirements were just too high, so I found a few minutes today and sold some animals. Wish I had been able to list them earlier, but still did well enough.

 

I mistakenly decided that after I prepared with nearly 2000 of each animal I should just give it a shot and now I have bred over 700 times and I'm struggling with those amounts. I've wrecked most of my stock and still haven't finished.
If I had have known it was going to be this hard I would have just chucked it. The 1.5 million in stock is the most I've ever seen since playing this game. skips were a joke. Wait till the player feedback opens on this one I'll call it neon rip off.
I'm down to basic stock on the mice. and have another 250 thousand to get the last batch. used 1200 powerfeed and the baby boom is off. You can't even reason with me right now, I won't hear it.

 

ltbit farm is trying to finish mice. Only 11 mouse left. Ran out of pheromones so have had to wait for results - so BB ended on me.
Baby Boom produces better skips than Deluxe Phermones.
16 breedings of mouse + 2 Deluxe Phermones resulted in 4 skips to kitchen mouse. No extras like in Baby Boom
12 breedings of mouse + 4 Deluxe Phermones resulted in 4 skips to kitchen Mouse A little better odds but not by much.

I am so close on getting my requirements.

 

One thing that has helped me greatly in these neon events is to watch the Rumor section like a hawk!!!
As soon as the new neons are confirmed, and during BBD's only, I concentrate on the upcoming animals.
I believe we had 2 BBD's to work on the Cat, Mouse and Bear before this Neon/BBD event. That way I was much better stocked up on high level breeder animals to donate.
As for this one....I also worked on chameleon and peacock which are rumored to be the next neons.

I had already gotten the CR......too far in to not get it I now have 257 lovelocks to spend and don't know what to get. If I read correctly the givers can be placed on the 3 fields only. hmmm....
